Aside from his remarkable talents in dancing and acting, Vhong Navarro is also admired for being an impressive comedian, which we get to witness in the past 14 years that he’s been a mainstay of It’s Showtime.

And while he and his co-hosts never fail to humor us with their hilarious banters and shenanigans every noontime, Vhong recently brought immense good vibes to everyone through his “blunders” and “hirits.” Let’s revisit some of them in this Kapamilya Update feature

Let us start off in that moment when he got Vice Ganda ROFL-ing (or rolling on the floor laughing) because of his mispronunciation of the word “emoji” during the “ApPAIR TAYO” portion of an episode of “Isip Bata.” He also became the laughingstock of his co-hosts when he uttered the name of “Batang Cute-po” Imogen Cantong while introducing her and her fellow kiddie advisors in another episode.

Vhong then went viral after he accidentally opened the box assigned to him in an episode of “RamPanalo.” It happened after he enthusiastically heeded to the Unkabogable Star’s request for him to do a ceremonial sexy dance as “pampa-swerte” and his “kaldag” went a bit over the top.

Even though he’s not moving nor speaking, he’s still able to exhibit his comedic chops – yet in a bizarre and stinky way. In an episode of Tawag ng Tanghalan, Vice couldn’t help herself from getting distracted when Vhong suddenly farted in the midst of a serious moment during the semi-finals.

The same happened to Anne Curtis, who wasn’t able to hold her laughter upon hearing his pronunciation of the word “help” while interviewing a “Sexy Babe” contestant. He got his co-hosts LOL-ing (or laughing out loud) in an episode of “Tawag ng Tanghalan” a long time ago when, that time, he misheard the word “handsome,” while a daily contender was explaining the meaning behind the name of her child Calix. He thought that she mentioned “hands on,” which really made his co-hosts, particularly Vice and Ogie Alcasid, laugh hysterically.

He also attempted to impress everybody with his wisdom by imparting a quotable quote in an episode of “Mas Testing,” but instead of inspiring, he left us all laughing after he misread or misinterpreted the last word. In the aphorism, “Reach for the moon. If you miss, you will land among the stars”, he read the word “stars” as “as”, after the writer drew the star sign and suffixed the letter “s” instead of spelling it out on the cue card. Well, we could let it slide, right?

And lastly, we were amused with how Vhong seemingly had an “outburst” while he, Vice, and Jhong Hilario were discussing why some men need to have two phones. Since he’s guilty of it, he explained that it’s because he has a separate phone for work and for personal use, and his now-wife Tanya Bautista is aware of it. He appeared to be defensive, which astonished his co-hosts and everyone watching them.
