Thus, even though the pairing of Roxy (Xyriel Manabat) and Archie (Elijah Canlas) has already gained a throng of followers, there are some viewers who probably want him for Roxy, as they also see him as a good father-figure for her adorable unico hijo, Riley (Argus Aspiras).

Similar in real life, the young actor behind Doc Kevin, showbiz neophyte Ralph de Leon, is also actually a lovable guy inside and out. And we’re able to get to know him better not only through his Instagram posts, but also through his past interviews as well. Here are some of the interesting things that we discovered about him through a little stalking on his IG account.

He’s also into modelling and hosting

We may know him now as a budding actor, but he’s actually a promising model and host, too! Going through his IG, we can see a lot of portraits of him taken from his photoshoots, either for his portfolio or for the projects that he did. He’s not only a fashion or ramp model but also a commercial actor, already appearing in the TV ads of a popular fast-food chain and a skincare product.

Aside from modeling, Ralph also tried hosting and was actually tapped to become a host for some of the huge events in the country. These include Miss Universe Philippines 2022 for its All-Access segment, in which he had the chance to be partnered with Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Tebow née Nel-Peters, Mister Pilipinas Worldwide 2023, and the 2023 and 2024 editions of Miss Universe Philippines.

He’s a certified athlete and a sporty

Seeing his photos flexing his fit and toned physique makes us assume that Ralph is a gym buff, which is apparently true as we spotted a few posts of him hitting the gym. But aside from working out, he’s seemingly able to develop that body by playing a few sports during his leisure time. Based on some of his posts, Ralph tried freediving and golf, which not a lot of people do.

But you’ll perhaps be surprised once you find out that Ralph is actually a judoka or judo player and used to play for Ateneo de Manila University in the UAAP and other local and international competitions, as he divulged in a past media interview. We’re not sure if he still has it, but we wish to see him play judo someday.

He is well-travelled and loves to go to the beach

Taking into consideration how being an actor, host, and model can be taxing, we can say that Ralph really deserves to go on getaways. And over the past years, Ralph has already traveled to various locations locally and abroad, such as Palawan, Boracay, Ilocos Sur, and Leyte here in the Philippines, as well as New York City and California in the United States and Tokyo in Japan.

And one thing stands out the most in the photos and clips that he posted about his travels – his love for the beach! He is such a true beach guy, as we’re able to see his posts enjoying the water and basking in the sun.
