Here’s a major throwback treat for fans of The Voice Kids Philippines Season 1!After the successful finale of The Voice Kids Philippines Season 1, Top 4 finalists Darren Espanto, JK Labajo, Darlene Vibares, and champion Lyca Gairanod guested on <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/ggv">Gandang Gabi Vice. </a>To open the conversation, Vice Ganda thanked Darlene for being his fan. Darlene was 10, JK and Darren were 13, and Lyca was 9 during this interview. Vice asked if Lyca goes to school, to which she answered, “Opo pero ayaw ko lang po pumasok kasi binu-bully po ako. Binabato po ako ng libro. ‘Pag tulog po ako, ginigising po nila ako ng libro.”After throwing his punchlines, the GGV host clarified that bullying must never be tolerated. He asked kids watching to speak up if they experience bullying at school. He said, “Pwede kayong magsumbong sa magulang, sa teacher. Kasi bawal na bawal ‘yan. Nangyayari ‘yan, hindi lang naman ngayon nangyayari ‘yang bullying. Eh, iba-iba naman ang mga bata kung paano magco-cope sa sitwasyon.”He continued, “Ako, dati lumalaban ako kasi wala naman akong magulang na mapagsusumbungan at busy din ang mga kapatid ko. Pero lumalapit ako sa mga teachers. Tutulungan kayo ng teachers.”
