Decisive, daring, and tailored to perfection—these are the watchwords to the new thrilling H&M Studio’s A/W23 collection. With black dominating the palette and with stark references to film noir heroines, this collection is set to be killer.
The pieces comprise of sharp suiting and sculpted outerwear, adorned with polished accessories to complete the looks fit to your liking. ““H&M Studio is our most directional, fashion-forward offering. For Autumn, our design team has created a collection that feels pragmatic but poetic. Premium qualities feature throughout the collection with tailoring, outerwear, and decorated denim that you’ll fall in love with instantly, and wear over and over, for years to come,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, Head of design and creative advisor at H&M.
This is the 10th year since the H&M Studio collection debuted in 2013. The limited-edition collection always makes sure each season is more exciting and thematic than the last. Key pieces include tailored black maxi coat with a nipped-in waist with a bright-white shirt punctuated with an oversized bow. Something for the evening, the low-slung jeans is made more exciting with with champagne-hued rhinestones and a co-ordinating jacket. There is also an A-line mini dress with a razor-sharp white collar, almost reminiscent of the twins in the classic movie The Shining.
Accessories include sleek nappa leather boots and statement jewellery and the re-issue of the padded cushion-clutch bag. The collection will be made available in select stores and on hm.com on September 28.
