Dior, for the first time in its history, went to Seoul, South Korea to stage their Fall 2022 runway show. 88 looks walked down the runway and each one celebrated the contemporary dynamism that is Seoul and its fashion. Schoolgirl prep and lady-like dresses were sprinkled throughout the show and they were definitely some of the show’s standouts.

The iconic Ewha University steps, the first all-women educational institution in Seoul, served as the backdrop of the show and was the perfect location for Maria Grazia Chiuri’s mission to highlight femininity.

Pleated skirts, black and white kilts, and jackets inspired by men’s suiting that reimagine the iconic Bar jacket were sure favorites. A series of evening gowns, especially designed for the show, revisit the volumes of iconic silhouettes—such as the Juno – reinvented by through irresistibly bold asymmetrical cuts.

Judging by the show’s front row too with house ambassador Jisoo and Bae Suzy leading the pack as well as Ahn Hyo-seop, Jung Hae-in, the show truly was a stellar night for Dior in Seoul.
