We think we just witnessed the wedding of the decade. Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge got married in the French Riviera this weekend, and the wedding was quite the event for the new It girl.

Sofia wore a series of elegant Chanel looks and several timeless ensembles from Khaite, Proenza Schouler, and more. Each look was well-documented on Instagram and on Sofia’s new TikTok page. People from all around the world fell deeply in love with Sofia’s understated glamour. Her slicked back hair and almost bare makeup paired with her chic dresses, statement jewelry, and designer bags are just top notch.

The cherry on top of Sofia’s wedding weekend has got to be the three custom Chanel couture looks she wore for her rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and after party. Each look was inspired by iconic styles from Chanel’s archive. The rehearsal dinner dress was inspired by the black beaded dress on the Chanel F/W 1997 couture runway while the after party dress was Sofia’s dream look from Chanel’s F/W 1993 couture show.

Sofia’s wedding gown is a Chanel masterpiece. The embroidered look features a halter neckline and a subtle mermaid silhouette, iridescent sequins, and the iconic Chanel rose. At the back, you can see a keyhole detail that just completes to the look. The gown was inspired by a dress from the Chanel Fall/Winter 2023.
