Now is the best time to make an impact! Michelle Dee delivered an outstanding performance at the Miss Universe 2023 Preliminaries while bannering Filipino design. With just a few more days until the Miss Universe competition, Michelle made sure to make an impact with her chosen looks for the preliminaries.

For the evening gown segment, Michelle paid homage to her mother Melanie Marquez who won Miss International in 1979. The emerald green evening gown featured 30,000 Swarovski crystals from top to bottom. Designed by Mark Bumgarner, the gown shimmered just like the skin of a green viper, a symbol of wisdom, power, and transformation.

Michelle proceeded to give us yet another look to marvel at with her national costume. Dressed as an Air Force pilot and plane, Michelle aims to promote tourism and travel in the Philippines with her costume. The look was designed by Michael Barassi.

To cap off Michelle's performance in the Miss Universe 2023 Preliminaries, our queen chose a fiery red one-piece swimsuit for the competition. The cut of the swimsuit complemented Michelle's physique and stance. What a stunner!
