The opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics provided a strong start for the multi-sport international event. From the parade of athletes, the lighting of the torch, to the splendid performances, and more, thousands are left in awe after witnessing the beginning of the games.

Lady Gaga helped set the tone with her dazzling rendition of Mon Truc en Plumes, which translates to “My Thing With Feathers”. In true Gaga fashion, the mother of camp wore a Dior Haute Couture black feather jacket over a black satin bustier and panties. The look also featured a skirt embroidered with feathers and sequins along with a Dior headpiece, gloves, and shoes. Her dancers were also clad in Dior.

In an Instagram post, Lady Gaga mentioned that “she wanted nothing more than to create a performance that would warm the heart of France”.
