The non-televised Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Governors Awards provided plenty of fashion inspiration on the red carpet. The more casual ceremony awarded some honorary Oscars awards including the the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award, the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award and the Honorary Award.

Many stars opted for a classic black evening gown including Margot Robbie, Emily Blunt, Natalie Portman, and more. Greta Lee continues to break red carpet stereotypes by donning an electric red padded gown by Bottega Veneta. Florence Pugh had a high-shine Rodarte moment while Julianne Moore caught eyes with her Valentino look. As predicted, drop-waist dresses are becoming a huge hit on the red carpet with Ayo Edebiri and Keri Russell in Jil Sander at the recent Golden Globes.
