The message at Ferragamo is clear: it’s a new dawn for the Italian luxury brand as bright young designer Maximilian Davis fully takes on the role as creative director of the brand. His newest campaign for the Ferragamo Spring/Summer 2023 collection, aptly titled A New Dawn, shines a spotlight on Davis’ vision for Ferragamo and the new codes he is building for the brand.

Starring the campaign are the three key pieces that first made an impact on the runway. Anchoring the collection is the Wanda bag, reimagined by Davis. Named after Mr. Ferragamo’s wife who was the keeper of the family business, the bag’s ‘80s boxy silhouette reveals juxtaposition of minimalism and futurism. The high shine treatment features Gancio buckles and proportions that are unmistakably Ferragamo.
