The much talked about Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama launched this year gets a second run and it’s extra exciting! In this joyful new drop, we see painted caricatures on bags, shoes, and accessories (and even models!). The new motifs this season make for an overdoze fun as bright hues and eccentric prints takeover Louis Vuitton classics and bring in a jolt of energy.
A main focus of this drop is the Pumpkin motif taking over the Weekend Tote, Trio Messenger and Keepalls. For Kusama, pumpkins have always been a vegetable of interest for their “solid spiritual balance” and unpretentiousness. The unassuming veggie is seen emblazoned on blousons and clothes for men and also the L’Immensite fragrance bottle.
Flowers are also integral to this drop. Growing up in rural Japan, Kusama’s parents ran seed nurseries. She made flower paintings that are now embroidered on clothes and bags, especially on the Capucines and Monogram Empreinte OnTheGoand Speedy bags.
The “Faces” are also a welcome addition to this new collection. They’re playful and eccentric and add a dash of fun into scarves and the Monogram canvas.

But most importantly, the most notable Infinity Dots get a re-run across all categories of the collection. They come in black & fuchsia, sky blue & white and white & red.
There’s a fun installation, too at the Greenbelt 3 store so it’s definitely high time to check this collection out! See more of the collection in the lookbook below! ‘
