Throwback moments of former child actors at the Star Magical Prom through the years

<p>When we hear the word “prom,” a few things come to mind: parties, coming-of-age moments, and spending time with friends before a new chapter begins. For Star Magic’s youngest talents, it’s also a chance to step away from the spotlight and experience the promenade just as they’ve always imagined through the annual Star Magical Prom.  </p><p>Beyond the fresh faces, the event also highlights Kapamilya stars who once played the adorable younger versions of teleserye characters and have since grown into young ladies and gentlemen. Among those who joined the enchanting evening was Jana Agoncillo, best remembered for her roles in “Starla” and “Ningning.” Jana turned heads in a chic black-and-yellow ensemble, elevated by striking jewelry that perfectly complemented her look. </p><p>Also in attendance was Mutya Orquia, another Kapamilya star best known for her standout role in “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2024/11/26/throwback-mutya-2011-0014"><strong><u>Mutya</u></strong></a>.” She arrived with her date, Beaver Magtalas, whose <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/starmagic/articles-news/beaver-gives-mutya-cinderella-moment-in-latest-promposal-21800"><strong><u>promposal</u></strong></a> was among the most talked-about at the time. Mutya dazzled in a pink gown, looking every bit like a princess. </p><p>Also part of the star-studded lineup was Raikko Mateo, famously known for his titular role in “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/articles-photos/throwback-honesto-2013-14613"><strong><u>Honesto</u></strong></a>,” who looked sharp in a blue suit for his first prom. Lance Lucido and Hannah Lopez Vito were also in attendance, exuding elegance and charm throughout the evening. Embracing the Fairytale theme, attendees arrived as real-life storybook characters, dressed in enchanting ensembles fit for princes and princesses. Krystal Brimner graced the runway in a stunning look inspired by water and petals, while Mutya Orquia made her prom return in an elegant ensemble influenced by Disney’s Cinderella. </p><p>Our beloved “Goin’ Bulilit” alums also joined the celebration. Lance Lucido looked sleek in his suit, while Raikko Mateo embodied a modern-day prince in his blue attire. She is best known for her role as Mikmik in “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2026/5/3/throwback-the-child-stars-who-stole-our-hearts-in-nang-ngumiti-ang-langit-2019-0015"><strong><u>Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit</u></strong></a>” (2019). Before becoming two of the promising housemates of “<a href="http://pbb.abs-cbn.com"><strong><u>Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0</u></strong></a>,” Miguel Vergara and Krystal Mejes were among the rising young talents who walked the runway. Bringing together a touch of magic and royalty were Zaijan Jaranilla and Xyriel Manabat, who had just wrapped up their series “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2025/3/12/throwback-the-stars-of-senior-high-2023-1023"><strong><u>Senior High</u></strong></a>” at the time. </p><p>Xyriel is best remembered for her iconic portrayal of Ana Manalastas in the 2011 drama “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2025/4/15/throwback-xyriel-manabat-as-young-anna-manalastas-in-100-days-to-heaven-2011-0125"><strong><u>100 Days to Heaven</u></strong></a>,” a role that helped define her career. Zaijan, on the other hand, became a primetime favorite as Santino in the 2009 series “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2025/9/13/zaijian-returns-to-may-bukas-pa-taping-location-revisits-some-of-santino-s-iconic-scenes-0014"><strong><u>May Bukas Pa</u></strong></a>.” Both performances left a lasting mark on Filipino audiences. </p><p>The Star Magical Prom returns this 2026 with a much-anticipated futuristic theme.
