Kapamilya stars open up about the small fears they rarely talk about

<p>While we openly express our quirks, interests, and the things we love on a daily basis, hidden beneath them are the inner fears we rarely talk about. From animals we flinch away from to situations we hope won’t happen, our Kapamilya stars were asked: What’s a small fear you’ve never told anyone? Their answers turned out to be surprisingly relatable! </p><p>AC Bonifacio shared a fear many of us have—riding roller coasters. “I can’t do roller coasters no matter how much you try to get me to. Siguro ‘yung mga kiddie roller coasters lang, but I can’t do anything crazy,” she admitted. Meanwhile, “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pinoy-big-brother-collab-v2" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0</em></u></strong></a>” alum Marco Masa revealed that eating spicy food makes him uneasy, so he avoids it altogether.</p><div><br/></div><div><script data-wid="auto" type="text/javascript" src="https://content.viralize.tv/display/?zid=AAFz8gWM8iRADsJr&amp;cid=AB4GLM66sXiV8Lfr"></script></div><div><br/></div><p>For Aljon Mendoza, the thought of accidentally leaving his keys inside his unit is what scares him, especially since he currently lives alone. As for Gela Atayde, who describes herself as an open book when it comes to her habits, she shared that her anxiety makes her easily frightened, and that her challenge lies in finding peace within herself.  </p><p>Jason Dy gets real about his worries as a singer, as he is very protective of his vocal cords. “Lagi kong fear na parang mapuputulan ako ng ulo. Parang magigilit ang leeg ko.” Jason added that every time he watches horror movies or medical dramas, he winces whenever someone’s throat is slit, as it deeply unsettles him.  </p><p>Seasoned actors Baron Geisler and Cris Villanueva also shared what scares them the most. The “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/blood-vs-duty" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>Blood vs Duty</em></u></strong></a>” actor leaned into his fears as a family man, centering on the possibility of failing his kids. “Kaya right now, I’m doing my best to provide for them,” he stated. Meanwhile, Cris did not shy away from admitting that he struggles with mic and stage nerves. “’Pag humahawak ako ng microphone at pakakantahin ako, ‘yung kaba ko talaga, grabe,” he confessed.  </p><p>Kapamilya actress Jane De Leon candidly revealed her fear of a sudden apocalypse. KD Estrada, on the other hand, opened up about being a germaphobe. “With everything happening nowadays, parang it’s something I want to take care of— ‘yung health ko,” he said, expressing his concern about events around him that might affect everyone’s well-being. </p><p> Fears come in many forms, and for some, insects and pests top the list. Kolette Madelo expressed her nervousness about cockroaches, especially the ones that fly. “’Pag may nakita akong ipis, automatic na ’yon, aalis na ako,” Kolette said. Jeremy Glinoga admitted to sharing the same jitters, particularly when it comes to large flying cockroaches.  </p><p>Other Kapamilya artists also opened up about their animal-related fears. Anji Salvacion admitted her disgust for rats, especially when she thinks about them. Gold Aceron also relates to Anji, saying he gets uncomfortable around rabbits and hamsters, especially those that are very hairy. Lastly, Argel Saycon shared that he is afraid of caterpillars.  </p><p>These discomforts, no matter how small, remind us that even our favorite celebrities share the same everyday worries most of us do.</p>
