Vice expressed her wish to meet the woman personally to thank her, which nearly became a reality after the Japanese press learned about the heartwarming story and helped in the search for her.Unfortunately, Vice—who was in Japan at the time to attend a film festival—was unable to meet the private citizen she had long felt indebted to.
