Claudia reminds Vincent of his failures </strong></div><p>Vincent was deeply affected after failing to become CEO of Cabrera News, losing the position to Walter. Claudia alludes to Vincent that even his own father does not trust him with their business. She adds that his desire to reach the highest title makes him desperate, one of the reasons she had previously filed for annulment. Triggered even more, Vincent insists that he can endure any lashing from other people, but not from his wife. </p><div> </div><div><strong>2. The shocking news of Walter&#x27;s death </strong></div><p>Vincent arrives home in the morning and runs into Claudia, who questions him about coming home late. He stays silent, leading Claudia to assume he is still resentful over Walter being appointed head of Cabrera News. Vincent insists that wasn’t the only reason he stayed out, prompting Claudia to press him for more answers.  </p><p>Before Vincent can respond, both he and Claudia receive separate phone calls informing them of Walter’s sudden passing. Claudia panics for a moment but quickly composes herself to avoid suspicions about her connection with Walter.  </p><div> </div><div><strong>3. Claudia questions Vincent&#x27;s innocence </strong></div><p>The probe into Walter’s case continues to uncover evidence pointing to Vincent, while Claudia persists in directing her suspicions toward him. She grows increasingly frustrated as Vincent refuses to answer questions about his whereabouts on the night Walter died. Vincent, in turn, questions why Claudia is so affected by the situation, and she explains that Walter was not only a close friend but also an important figure in the company. </p><div> </div><div><strong>4. Vincent and Stella embarrassed by Claudia </strong></div><p>Stella (Kim Chiu) is invited by Claudia to a dinner with the Cabrera family, where both she and Vincent are humiliated in front of everyone. “Congratulations, Stella. I endured that for many years,” Claudia reveals. </p><p>She continues to hurl belittling remarks at Stella despite Vincent’s attempts to defend her, speaking from the pain of confronting her husband’s alleged girlfriend.  </p><div><br/></div><div><strong>7. Vincent forces Claudia to face rehab </strong></div><p>While Vincent and Stella break into Walter&#x27;s house, they find Claudia sneaking inside to retrieve a stash of illegal drugs stored by Walter. Vincent immediately disposes of the pills, while Claudia cries and begs him to stop. Vincent asserts that he will send Claudia to a facility, but she opposes and reminds him how much it would affect their daughter. </p><div> </div><div><strong>8. Vincent endures Claudia&#x27;s wrath </strong></div><p>Vincent takes care of Claudia after she loses consciousness, and she later wishes for him to end up in prison. “You are a worthless son. A loser husband. And a terrible father,” she remarks, then walks away from him.  </p><div> </div><div><strong>9. Claudia pleads with Vincent to rekindle their love </strong></div><p>Vincent presents Claudia with evidence of her affair with Walter, declaring his intention to end their marriage immediately. Claudia pleads with him not to go through with it. “Hindi ko kayang wala ka. Hindi ko kayang mag-isa,” she cries desperately. </p><p>She confesses the pain she feels every time she sees Vincent with Stella, urging him to remove Stella from the picture so they can start over. Vincent stands by his decision </strong></div><p>Claudia and Vincent get into another heated argument, with Vincent reminding her how their child would feel about her buried past with Walter. Claudia denies Vincent’s claims. “Mahal na mahal ka ni Bea. Mawawasak siya kapag nalaman niya lahat ng pinaggagagawa mo,” Vincent states.   </p><p>He adds, “Nagiging nanay ka lang kapag convenient sa’yo,” as Claudia cares more about the public’s perception than her marriage.
