Majoy Apostol breezes through Kapamilya Chat’s “Acting Challenge 2.0”

On top of unveiling subtle teasers and sharing a passionate commentary about her pivotal character in “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/what-lies-beneath" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">What Lies Beneath</a>” as Liezel Basa, Mary Joy Apostol confidently participates in the highly inventive “Actingan Challenge 2.0” of Kapamilya Chat.Simply said, the Kapamilya actress will randomly pick a written prompt that she must swiftly perform alongside her favored props, which then would effectively complement each impromptu scene. Majoy easily adapts to the first scenario, requiring her to embody a horror film’s frantic protagonist, who eventually refuses to follow the script. <div><script data-wid="auto" type="text/javascript" src="https://content.viralize.tv/display/?zid=AAFz8gWM8iRADsJr&amp;cid=ABzdVTc6sXV52Ltx"></script></div>Host Jeremiah also acts with Majoy, posing as the director, continuously supervising every bit of her movements. The playful twist in their scene begins the moment Majoy gets ahold of a shiny sword, aiming to defeat the villainous ghost around her. Later on, when it is revealed that the ghost was actually her admired person, she hastily apologizes to the director, laughing at the sudden resolution. Bringing to life a relatable experience for many viewers, the second scenario transformed Majoy and Jeremiah into a pair of best friends, with Jeremiah reaching out to Majoy for the fourth time to seek more advice about reconnecting with his ex-lover. Majoy channels her strict best friend attitude, fiercely ready to knock some sense into Jeremiah. He arrives with a sullen expression, but Majoy immediately criticizes his actions, listing his shortcomings, such as causing an unnecessary ruckus at a bar and being too intoxicated. Exuding pure humor, she gives him the watering pot, reminding Jeremiah to drink water from it instead of beer.For the last scenario, Majoy becomes a part of a line of customers who receive notice to return the next day, failing to reach the cut-off. Jeremiah delivers the unfortunate news as a security guard, and Majoy quickly rises to her feet, playing a boggle as she comically complains.  The two wrap up their acting performances, with Jeremiah suggesting all customers participate in the word game, making their efforts on waiting seem a bit worthwhile.Will there be more twists to expect from Mary Joy Apostol’s character, Liezel Basa?
