Fresh from her first-ever victory in “<a href="http://yourface.abs-cbn.com">Your Face Sounds Familiar</a>” due to her impressive impersonation of <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2026/1/25/rufa-mae-quinto-earns-a-standing-ovation-for-her-unforgettable-fergie-performance-yfsf-2026-2128">Fergie as she sang the iconic hit “Big Girls Don’t Cry”</a>, Rufa Mae Quinto once again tried to please the jury with her transformation into Kitchie Nadal for the 10th round of the competition.  The ‘Comedy Bombshell’ let out a sigh of relief after her performance of the well-loved OPM hit and karaoke staple, ‘Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin’. During the post-performance interview, hosts Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario asked her if Kitchie is indeed her cousin, which Rufa Mae confirmed by disclosing that they&#x27;re related by blood on the paternal side.  Although her explanation of their kinship initially left everyone confused, it became clearer when she explained that they only learned of their true connection later in life, when they were already adults thriving in showbiz—despite having been playmates as children. A pre-recorded video of Kitchie expressing her admiration to Rufa Mae and excitement towards her performance was also flashed on the LED screen. Juror Gary Valenciano couldn’t help but notice how relatively relaxed she has been ever since winning in the previous round. Thus, he hoped that it’s going to be like that in the coming round because he truly enjoyed watching her. Rufa Mae then received standing ovations from Sharon Cuneta and Ogie Alcasid for her first-ever weekly winner feat in the past round, in which both of them were absent. The ‘Megastar’ expressed her pride on how Rufa Mae was able to impress everyone, especially with her vocal prowess since she was able to hear Avril the moment she started to sing. The ‘OPM chief’, meanwhile, quipped that he was initially in disbelief upon learning of her win the previous week, even thinking it might have been “fake news.” He echoed Gary’s remark about her demure demeanor and pointed out that she didn’t strum the guitar when she was supposed to.
