Rave Victoria on 100-second moment with Ashley Sarmiento: “Kahit natalo ako, nakita ko na ‘yung taong gusto kong makita ulit.”

<p>It has been a roller coaster ride for our Kapamilya housemate Rave Victoria throughout his “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pinoy-big-brother-collab-v2" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab 2.0</em></u></strong></a>” journey as the “Optimistic Apo ng Tarlac.” More than just a housemate, Rave showed that true victory lies not only in winning the tasks and surpassing the challenges, but in how you grow and inspire others with your story. </p><p>Now that he is back in the outside world, Rave candidly shares his favorite memories from Bahay ni Kuya, the lessons he learned, and the things he will miss in the January 16 episode of Kapamilya Chat.</p><div><br/></div><div><iframe width="951" height="535" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/eT1XUEAcxVo" title="Anton Vinzon and Rave Victoria | Kapamilya Chat 2026" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br/></div><div><strong>Rave on his relationship with the housemates</strong></div><p>The Kapamilya star looked back on the first night he set foot in Bahay ni Kuya. As a fresh face in the industry, he revealed that he felt intimidated, knowing that the housemates he would be spending a few months with were well-known child stars. “Hindi ko alam kung paano sila i-a-approach, kung magiging close ko ba sila. Nung first night, tinry ko talagang makipag-close agad sa kanila.”  </p><p>“Go with the flow” was Rave’s mindset before entering the house. “Kasi alam ko naman ‘yung ugali ko na magiging okay naman ako kung magpapakatotoo ako sa loob ng bahay… alam ko na ‘yung intentions ko ay clear lagi at malinis naman.” He added that he had no worries at all, which helped him avoid overthinking and made his stay even more enjoyable than expected.  </p><p>When asked who the first Kapamilya and Kapuso housemates he bonded with were, Rave shared that Kapamilya star Fred Moser was the first, as they celebrated Fred’s birthday on the night they entered the house. With the Kapuso artists, it was Lee Victor, whose friendly energy drew him in.  </p><p>On the other hand, Rave admitted he was initially intimidated by Kapuso celebrities Marco Masa and Ashley Sarmiento. “Kasi alam kong child stars sila, napapanood ko sila sa TV. Iniisip ko na makaka-close ko kaya ‘to?” He said he had hoped to befriend them, and eventually, they did become close.  </p><p>In the outside world, Rave is one of the housemates fans consider a “task slayer”---someone who is always strategic and nails every challenge given to him. His most unforgettable moment as a task slayer was during their first weekly task, “Candelabra de Horror,” where he was the last one to carry a candelabra holding twenty lit candles. “Nagtiwala sila sa akin na ako ‘yung last man standing, sobrang nakaka-pressure ‘yun pero na-overcome… first weekly task namin at may naiambag ako.”  </p><p>It was the first task the housemates won, and Rave takes pride in being a big help in securing that victory. </p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Rave&#x27;s final moments inside Bahay ni Kuya</strong></div><p>After his eviction, Rave was given another chance to return as a housemate through the wildcard, but he failed to reclaim his spot. Before he officially left the house, he was granted a <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2026/1/14/day-82-rave-muling-nagpaalam-kay-ashley-pbb-collab-2-0-2334" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u>100-second interaction with Kapuso housemate Ashley Sarmiento</u></strong></a><strong><u><em></em></u></strong> --his closest friend inside the house, who’s also celebrating her birthday. Rave admitted that he felt really down after not making it through the wildcard challenge, but seeing Ashley lifted his spirits. “Nung nakita ko si Ashley, sumaya ako bigla. Kahit natalo ako, nakita ko na ‘yung taong gusto kong makita ulit.” He added that he will definitely miss her presence. </p><p>Rave also expressed how grateful he is for their growing friendship, “Siya ‘yung kapag may problema ako, talagang pinupuntahan niya ako… kapag alam niyang nag-iisa ako, pinagluluto niya ako. Alam niya kung paano ako sasaya kapag medyo malungkot ako. ‘Yung mga ganong bagay, parang nabubuo agad ‘yung araw mo sa loob ng bahay.” </p><p>When asked about his favorite moments with Ashley, Rave shared that it was when he got to be her date during their ball night and danced with her.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Back to the outside world</strong></div><p>After his eviction, Rave revealed that he had to focus on adjustments as he returned to the outside world. “First few days… ‘di ko pa alam kung paano gumamit ng phone, tapos ‘yung mga na-miss ko na food, kinain ko agad.” </p><p>As he settled back, Rave discovered the overwhelming support of fans throughout his “PBB” journey. “PBB” was his first opportunity in the industry, and he was truly grateful for the warm support from the audience. “Nung paglabas ko at sobrang daming tao, sobrang na-amaze talaga ako kasi ‘di ko in-expect na ang dami palang nagmamahal sa amin. Nagpapasalamat din talaga ako kay Lord na nangyari ‘to.” </p><p>When asked what moment he would like to relive inside Bahay ni Kuya, Rave said that every day in the house was unforgettable. “Araw-araw, sa loob ng bahay, may bagong lesson, experience. Pero kung may babalikan man ako, ‘yung first night. Gusto kong makita ulit ‘yung hindi pa kami close, ‘yung medyo awkward pa.” </p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Reflections beyond Bahay ni Kuya</strong></div><p>One of the most inspiring stories Rave shared was about love and forgiveness with his mom. The Kapamilya actor expressed his gratitude to “PBB” for giving him the opportunity to reconnect with her. He said he was truly thankful for the chance, and that <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2025/12/29/day-65-ang-emosyonal-na-pagkikita-nina-mommy-haidee-at-rave-pbb-collab-2-0-0015" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u>rekindling his bond with his mom</u></strong></a> is something he will never forget. Now that he is back in the outside world, he makes sure to nurture their relationship and spend more time with her. </p><p>Rave also shared that he did not take it heavily when he lost the wildcard challenge against Eliza Borromeo. “Tinake ko siya as God’s plan, kasi siguro para kina Eliza at Marco talaga. Sobrang deserve nila na makabalik… para maayos at ma-clear nila ‘yung mga bagay na medyo magulo dito sa outside world. Sobrang deserving nila.
