Ngayong malakas ang ulan, sumilong muna sa init ng pagmamahal ng isang Kapamilya. Sa piling ng “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/itsshowtime">It’s Showtime</a>” family, ang bawat sandali feels comforting like a warm cup of coffee. Para gumaan ang pakiramdam, laro muna tayo, ‘yung masaya lang! Kailangan lang maging street-smart dahil ang tanong ay tungkol sa mga maka-masa at ordinaryong bagay na nakikita sa araw-araw. Unang sumabak bilang players ang team ni Amy Perez, Vhong Navarro at Kim Chiu laban sa team nina Ogie Alcasid, Darren Espanto, at Anne Curtis. One on one ang labanan. At kung gustong sumagot, hilain lang ang string o ‘yung tali na pampara sa jeep. Hirit tuloy ni game master Jhong Hilario, huwag nang magpanggap sina Anne, Ogie at Darren, na hindi pa raw nakakasakay ng jeep. Sa angkin nilang confidence at ganda, paaapuyin nila ang puso mo. Pero, bago pa ang mainit na puksaan, sina Jhong at Vhong ang unang pinagpawisan. ‘Yong mga knock-knock jokes ni Board Member Max Collins, parang mas nakakakaba kaysa nakakatawa! Si Ryan Bang, tahimik lang sa umpisa, pero lumakas ang loob at ‘di napigilang bumanat kay Max! Hot na hot naman ang confidence ni Muse Patani, na nakilala noon bilang celebrity at host. Ngayon siya’y nagbabalik at siya na miso ang gumawa ng paraan para makapunta sa “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/itsshowtime">It’s Showtime</a>.” Nang dumating siya, naging runners-up na lang sina Kim at Anne sa larangan ng ganda. Pati si Board Member Will Ashley, na gustong manligaw, aba, pinapila!Si Muse Kris, napagkakamalang Chinita Princess! Pero nawala ang princess-like poise at naging ‘wild’ nang sayawan ng ultimate crush niyang si Vhong Navarro. Kuys, lakas talaga ng karisma mo! Malakas na karisma rin ang ipinakita nina Patani at Kris sa talent portion. Nothing but good vibes and compliment ang naging komento nina hurado Max, Will, at Negi. Pero, teka, ang ganda ng ngiti ni Will at ang galing mag-hurado. Napatanong tuloy ang Showtime family kung sino ang yayakapin nito sa malamig na panahon. Hmm. Sino ang hula n’yo, Madlang People? Bumagyo naman ng talento sa entablado ng “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” Year 9.Nagpasikat si Celine Pena ng Naic, Cavite, singing “Saving All My Love For You.” Nagustuhan ni hurado Dingdong Avanzado ang performance, pero payo nito, i-manage ang kaba para ‘di halata. “This Is My Life” naman ang piyesa ni Mary Rose Blanes ng Sorsogon. “What a voice,” reaksyon ni hurado Marco Sison! Dagdag nito, gusto niya ang boses ni Mary Rose dahil buong-buo. Si Mary Rose ang umabante sa KanTapatan round kung saan inawit niya ang “Saan Ang Darating Ang Umaga.” Concert-like performance naman ang panlaban ng kababayan niya sa Sorsogon at defending champion Feby San Miguel, rocking the stage with “Hit the Road Jack.”It’s a tie! Pareho silang panalo.
