The heat was on as the Star Magic All-Star Games 2025 took over the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday, July 20. From courtside cheers to center stage slays, Kapamilya stars and guest celebrity players brought their A-game in this much-awaited sports event in showbiz. The Men’s Volleyball match was one of the early highlights, setting the tone with strong serves and powerful spikes. Team Aces, composed of BGYO Akira and BGYO JL, Zach Guerrero, PJ Endrinal, Dingdong Bahan, and Bong Gonzales, got a major boost from guest pros Rex Intal and Ariel Cacao.   On the other side of the net, Team Smashers brought their own fire with Dylan Yturralde, Patrick Ramirez, Binsoy Namoca, Marc Santiago, Sky Quizon, and Jude Hinumdum, powered up by pro players JM Ronquillo and Kiel Castillo. The event witnessed not just thrilling rallies, but also sincere camaraderie and sportsmanship. One notable moment was when real-life couple Dingdong Bahan and Patrick Ramirez, aka DongPat of “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pbbgen112024" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">PBB Gen 11</a>” displayed love and support for each other despite playing for opposing teams–Dingdong was with Team Aces, while Patrick joined Team Smashers. And after Patrick sealed his squad’s win with a sharp spike, Dingdong ran to him with the proudest hug. Love wins even from opposite sides of the net! Patrick also clinched the MVP title.
