His “Incognito” character Andres Malvar may always appear stern and serious, especially when he and his fellow “kontraks” get into their every mission, but young actor Daniel Padilla wasn’t able to contain his bungisngis side as he could not help but giggle while taking on the thrilling “Lie Detector Challenge”. 

In this challenge, the kontraks have to respond to a few random questions thrown by their co-star Ian Veneracion while facing a polygraph machine that would determine whether they’re lying or saying the truth. 

Just at the beginning of the game, Daniel already couldn’t hide his jitters and hold his chuckles as the apparatus was being attached to him and Ian started to ask questions. This might probably be the reason why he came out ‘lying,’ as he said “yes” when quizzed if his real name was “Daniel John Ford.”

As he claimed—and the machine confirmed—that it’s actually easy for others to tell whenever he lies, the outcomes of his succeeding assertions received a series of thumbs down from the polygraph operator. While he downplayed his being a good actor and being the better actor among the cast of Incognito—something the machine disagreed with— Daniel stated that he was simply being humble, which the machine approved.

Daniel went on to express that he is proud to be part of “Incognito” and he doesn’t have any ounce of regret in accepting this project. At the same time, he didn’t regret taking on any of the teleserye or movie roles that he had done in the past. 

He also honestly responded to the questions with regard to having a colleague that really annoyed him, as well as checking on online fan accounts dedicated to him and having a certain favorite. 

And lastly, those who have followed his life in and out of showbiz are, perhaps, eager to find out his answers to the final questions thrown at him—“Is your heart happy now?” and “Have you ever stalked an ex on social media?”—to which he both said “yes.”
