Ngayong back to school season, muling magpapakilig ang mga campus heartthrobs. Katulad ng mga gwapo na bumisita sa studio, sila ang magpapangiti sa’yo. Kung ang exam ay tungkol sa “How to make girls kilig,” siguradong topnotchers sina Miguel Tanfelix, Bruce Roeland, Kokoy de Santos, Antonio Vinzon, at Raheel Bhyria–ang cast ng “Mga Batang Riles.”  Nag-exam din sila kasama ang Showtime family sa KIDSONA (Songs of the Nation Address). Miguel, ka-tandem si Vhong Navarro;  Bruce with Karylle; si Teddy Corpuz naman ang kakampi nina Antoio at Raheel; at si Kim Chiu ang kay Kokoy. Naglaro rin ang duos nina Jackie Gonzaga-Cianne Dominguez, Jugs Jugueta-Ion Perez. Competitive ang boys! Nag-drama pa nga si Kokoy para lang mapagbigyan, at tumalab naman, dahil silang dalawa ni Kim ang naka-two points. Pero ipinasa ni Kim sa mga ‘Batang Riles’ ang paglalaro sa jackpot round.  Excellent ang performance ng grupo, with extra points sa pagiging witty dahil ‘yung lyrics na “ba ba ba”, itinuro pa sa mga yellow minions ang pagkanta! Paalala: naka-dilaw lang si Jackie pero hindi siya minion, ha!Battle of the bilo-bilo pala ito! Walang aabsent dahil magde-defense si hype bestie Norman para ilaban ang kaibigang si Bernard, na sa edad na 63, ay nananatiling makisig at magandang lalaki.  Ang totoo n’yan, si Tito Bernard ay habulin daw ng mga babae. Pero minsan ay mayroon itong “pinaasa,” hinarana pero “eme-eme” lang ba. Sa kabilang banda, generous siya at masipag sa pagseserbisyo sa baranggay. At hindi rin nakakagulat kung ang tatlong hakbangers ay panay ang akyat lalo na nang masilayan ang kaguwapuhan ni Bernard.  Understanding naman si Julie, baranggay official. Kung magigiging hectic ang schedule ni Bernard, willing to adjust din si Gina, cosmetics seller, na proud sa anak na queer at specialty ang bilo-bilo. Forda akyat din si Gemma, na isa namang bilo-bilo seller.Sa Round 3 kung saan physical looks ang basehan ni Bernard, sina Gina at Gemma ang nagtagpo sa tuktok ng hagdan. So, kaninong bilo-bilo ang pupusuan ng matchmate na naguguluhan?  Dalawang mang-aawit ang nagpaasiklaban sa daily round ng “Tawag Ng Tanghalan Year 9.”  Dumagundong ang entablado sa pagdating ng pambato na Camiguin, si Michael Joshua Dagundong, na inawit ang “Through the Fire.” Komento ni hurado Nyoy Volante, kahit ang matataas na birit ni Joshua ay masarap sa tainga. Agree naman si hurado Louie Ocampo, na pinuri ang kalidad ng boses ni Joshua.  Present din si Glaidal Francisco ng General Santos City na kinanta naman ang ‘Pangako.” Manalo o matalo man sa araw na ‘to, sigurado si hurado Dingdong Avanzado na malayo ang mararating ni Galidel.  But for this daily round, si Michael Joshua ang nakakuha ng mas mataas na karangalan. Babalik siya bukas upang labanan ang defending champion na si Precious Baraquil.
