Primetime King Coco Martin is going full throttle for “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,”  where he gave viewers a glimpse of upcoming back-to-back action-packed confrontations that include the possible death scenes of major characters as the series marks its “political era” with Tanggol.

Coco joined “TV Patrol” for a live interview on the set of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” yesterday (June 16) where he was seen directing one of the major action scenes involving the characters of Jake Cuenca, Andrea Brillantes, and McCoy De Leon.

While Coco was careful not to share too much about the upcoming revelations, he promised viewers with non-stop action and shocking twists as Tanggol (Coco) goes to war against the powerful Guerrero family.

“Wala nang hingaan. Pinaghandaan namin ‘to at lahat ng eksena pinaghihirapan at pinag-iisipan. Ilang araw na namin shinu-shoot. Dire-diretso na lahat ng revelation at maraming character na dahan-dahan nang nawawala,” said Coco.

In another sneak peek, Tanggol was also seen single-handedly taking down multiple goons in what appears to be an abandoned building.

Viewers continue to tune in to “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’s” high-octane scenes after the series logged a total of 11 million episode views on Kapamilya Online Live for June 12 and June 13.

Recently, the hit Kapamilya teleserye marked the official start of Tanggol’s political era, as the "Tagapag-Tanggol ng Pagbabago" where he begins his campaign for Mayor in Manila, with a new theme song and a new poster featuring Tanggol in a heroic-like pose.

"FPJ's Batang Quiapo" continues to thrill viewers in different parts of the world including in Africa where it is currently airing in 41 countries in the continent with the international name "Gangs of Manila." Coco is also gearing up for ABS-CBN's first meet-and-greet event in Africa for "Kapamilya Live in Kenya" happening this June 28 together with Julia Montes.

Don’t miss the action-packed scenes in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” which is inspired by the original story of Regal Films, weeknights at 8 PM on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, iWantTFC, and Kapamilya Online Live. Viewers outside of the Philippines can watch on The Filipino Channel (TFC) on cable and IPTV.
