Femme MNL raises the LGBTQIA+ flag as they dance their way to the PGT 7 Grand Finals

And they&#x27;re not done slaying yet. As we anticipate their next &#x27;pasabog&#x27; performance, let’s take a look back at how they &#x27;werked&#x27; the “PGT” sage —from that Golden Buzzer moment to their semifinals set. </p><p>The all-gay dance group from Sta. Mesa, Manila, lit the stage on fire with their high-energy routine during the audition round. Their brand of hip-hop gave the audience something fresh and fun, but still polished. And a bit of comedic touches made the act even more entertaining. They earned a standing ovation from Judge Freddie “FMG” Garcia, who called their number “world-class.” Kathryn Bernardo praised how brilliant everything came together, while Donny Pangilinan noted the power and passion behind every movement. Growing up as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, most of the members of Femme MNL had to deal with fear early on, often choosing to hide who they were just to avoid judgment. They didn’t want to be laughed at. It took time before they could fully embrace themselves, and even longer before they found the courage to express that onstage. </p><p>Over the years, as they got more exposed to their community, things started to feel lighter. &quot;Na-realize namin na may mga katulad kami na nagiging pamilya na rin namin,&quot; said one of the group&#x27;s members. Dressed in matching blue outfits, they showcased dynamic movements, from fast footwork to floor drops, and even climbed steel trolleys they used as props. Their playfulness was still there, but this time, it came with sharper edges. At one point, some emerged in feathered black coats, strutting like runway models before they all shed the outer layers of their costumes to reveal gold outfits that shimmered as they danced, closing the act with a bang. </p><p>One by one, the judges gave their praises but they all shared the same sentiment—“Mabuhay ang mga bakla!” </p><p>Femme MNL found themselves in the bottom two of the Top 3 alongside fellow dance group Fuego Inferno. Under this season’s format, the act who gets the highest public vote automatically secures a Grand Finals slot, while the next two remaining acts must rely on the judges’ decision.
