It’s definitely kilig and laughter overload whenever Tomas Guerrero and Gab Rivera, the characters impressively portrayed by Anthony Jennings and Maris Racal in “Incognito,” grace our screens. Not a scene of them together would simply pass by without sending kilig and good vibes to the viewers, as they tend to always jokingly pick on one another, particularly Tomas, who constantly teases Gab.

They might have had a quite rocky beginning, but being together almost 24/7, especially whenever they have missions, has indeed brought them closer, which have made them more comfortable and friendlier with each other. And from being mere colleagues and friends, Tomas and Gab’s relationship has leveled up to marriage because of a business deal they had.

As we look forward to seeing how their life as a “married” couple will fare, let us revisit some of their sweet bardagulan or kulitan moments that made us both thrilled and amused in this episode of Kapamilya Update.

Let’s start with that scene wherein they pretended to be a lovey-dovey couple as they checked in at the same hotel where their target, Rema "Ama" Muñoz (Robert Seña), and his cohorts were staying, as part of their mission to seize them. To make their act extra realistic and be able to convince the concierge, Tomas suddenly put his right arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer to him, while Gab behaved affectionately towards him.

Instead of taking a rest whenever they have breaks in the midst of their missions, Tomas and Gab tend to spend them by engaging in petty spats and hilarious banters, such as when he tried to pressure her to apologize to him over something offensive that she had done to him. But instead of heeding his request, Gab went on to tell him that she didn’t feel anything towards him and she wasn’t willing to waste even an ounce of emotion on him.

However, there was an instance when the tough Gab was compelled to give in to him in her pursuit of making him agree to her wish. She initially attempted to use her charms on him but that didn’t work since he wanted her to call him “pogi,” or handsome.

And their bardagulan moments aren’t limited here in the Philippines as we’ve witnessed them continue picking on each other during their brief trip to Kaigen for another challenging mission that the Kontraks must carry out. Since it was snowing when they arrived, Tomas grabbed the chance to give Gab a hug while he was playing on the bed of snow, as well as to entertain her with his corny jokes while they were on a stroll, which both annoyed her so much.

Tomas then wasn’t able to contain his happiness upon the realization that it’s still possible for him and Gab to agree on something and for them to be amiable with one another. He has indeed become Gab’s confidant, especially with regard to her issues with her dad, Philip (Joel Torre), of which he has been aware.

Hearing and seeing how much she wanted to break away from Philip and to have her hands on the properties of her late mom prompted him to offer a business deal with her not just to ease up the burdens she’s been carrying through the years but to benefit from it as well. He offered himself to be the groom of Gab, who was required by her father to be married first before she could receive her inheritance, to which the latter agreed.

On the day of their fake civil wedding, Tomas couldn’t take her eyes off Gab as she walked towards the room in her sexy white ensemble. Of course, the supposedly kilig-filled ceremony wasn’t spared of their funny shenanigans, as they felt really awkward when Philip’s girlfriend, Shari (Emmanuelle Vera), demanded them to kiss. Just when we thought that they would really kiss on the lips, Gab could not bare the idea of doing so; thus she only allowed Tomas to give him a peck on the cheek.

Is there really a chance for Gab and Tomas to make things between them for real? Or are they better off as friends? Let’s all find out by watching “Incognito,” weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live (KOL), A2Z, and TV5.
