Talimba, which is actually filmed in the jaw-dropping real-life beauty of Itogon, Benguet, which boasts sweeping landscapes and misty mountains. Itogon, the 'gold haven' of Benguet, is known for its mineral-rich land.

Andres (Daniel Padilla), JB (Richard Gutierrez), Miguel (Baron Geisler), Max (Kaila Estrada), Gab (Maris Racal), and Tomas (Anthony Jennings) head into the wild treacherous heights of Mt. Talimba on a mission to hunt down one of the most notorious drug lords in Asia, Sameo Patel, portrayed by the ever-versatile Epy Quizon. The elusive and ruthless Patel is said to be running a massive drug operation hidden at the summit of the mountain. It was also mentioned that Patel's group could be involved in human trafficking and the exploitation of local workers.

So, don’t let the beauty of Mt. Talimba fool you—danger lurks behind every breathtaking view. To get to Patel’s hidden lair, the Kontraks will have to endure a grueling two-day trek up the steep mountain terrain, and reach the remote village called Sitio Mandalo, where a full-blown drug lab is said to be operating.
