Ashley Ortega and AC Bonifacio may have said goodbye to the “Pinoy Big Brother” house earlier than expected, but their journey didn’t stop at eviction night. The two have been busy with guest appearances and interviews. And one thing we've noticed about their interviews is how they’ve consistently wowed people with their maturity, self-awareness, and openness to growth. These ladies know how to lace their words with some serious wisdom. 

We’re saw more of that in the “Untold Questions” Challenge on Kapamilya Chat. Here, Ashley and AC took turns picking random cards with thought-provoking questions. 

Ashley went first and picked a card that asked about her most recent realization. She shared that she’s learned to be proud of herself, especially with all the love and support she has received since stepping back into the outside world. It made her realize that she has actually inspired and motivated so many people. It wasn’t that she lacked confidence before, but she was just too hard on herself. Now, she’s slowly learning to change that, and her PBB experience played a big role in helping her see that she also deserves a pat on the back.

But she’s not saying that being the first evictee of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition” wasn’t a sad news—it was. However, she chooses to look at the brighter side of things, knowing that she did her best inside Bahay Ni Kuya. She then patted AC on the arm and told her, “You should be proud of yourself also,” sounding like the best Ate to AC. 

The first question AC picked was pretty deep as well. It asked about one thing she wants to keep doing. That would have to be confronting her issues and facing whatever situation comes her way. She believes that talking things out right away helps resolve problems faster. In fact, that’s exactly why she and Ashley are in such a good place now, because they immediately addressed a small issue that happened between them inside the Big Brother house.

This lesson—to not be afraid to open up or face situations head-on—is something she knows will help her navigate the unpredictable world of showbiz, too. "It's a noisy world, it's a crazy industry. If I can settle something to make me feel better and make this person feel better, and we can grow a beautiful friendship out of it, I will do it," AC shared.

Then, AC picked a card that asked her to rate how happy she was. She admitted that she started the day with just a '2,' but after seeing Ashley and everything that happened that day, it went up to a '7.' And for her, that’s okay—even if it’s not a perfect 10—because it means there’s still room for her to get even happier until that 7 eventually becomes a 10.

Next, it was Ashley’s turn to pick a card, and she got, "Do you believe in second chances?" Without hesitation, she said yes. She believes everyone makes mistakes, but as long as they’re minor mistakes and the person knows how to apologize and show that they truly want to change, she believes it’s forgivable. However, if it keeps happening repeatedly, she’d definitely think twice about giving another chance. “Sa pasensya ko, pinaka-max na ‘yung tatlong beses mong ginawa,” she shared, adding that she’s naturally compassionate and forgiving. But, in certain situations—like in relationships, especially when it comes to cheating—giving a second chance would be really difficult.
