Well-rounded and creative are just two of the many empowering words to describe Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda. Over the years, she has become one of the most admired in the industry, not only for her talent in hosting and comedy but also for her bold and boundary-pushing fashion.

Vice never fails to serve, especially at glam events like the annual ABS-CBN Ball. Spectators would always look forward to her gowns, knowing that she’d turn heads with her big and flamboyant style. There’s no room for dullness when this scene-stealer plays with the dress code!

And with the ball just around the corner, we can't help but wonder how she will stun us this time. While we wait for another iconic slay, let’s take a trip down memory lane and revisit Vice’s most unkabogable looks through the years!

Vice had a show-stopping entrance at the inaugural ABS-CBN Ball in 2018 where she gave us two resplendent looks. For the red carpet, Vice channeled high-fashion drama in a Paul Cabral beaded black midi dress, matched by a 20-foot-long stained glass-inspired cape hand-painted by Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco, making the whole ensemble truly a work of art. 

She completed the look with a long, wavy blonde wig adorned with a thorn-like headdress. The whole sartorial theme was equal parts gothic and regal.

But of course, one look wasn’t enough for the night. For her hosting stint at the Bantay Bata program segment, Vice switched things up with a sparkling gray cape dress by Furne One Amato Couture, topped off with a bejeweled silver headpiece that screamed ethereal goddess.

For the ABS-CBN Ball 2019's Modern Filipiniana theme, Vice channeled the Manila Carnival Queen, which was a title given to the ladies possessing ‘beauty with a substance’ who joined the annual Queen of the Manila Carnival (dubbed by aficionados as the earliest beauty pageant in the country that ran from 1908-1939) and campaigned for good causes during the American colonial period.

It was the age of sartorial splendor as the ladies wore spectacular costumes that showcased the Filipina beauty and heritage. Drawing inspiration from that era, Vice wore an imposing gown that was heavily embellished with multi-colored stones on its bodice, with a long train, and oversized (‘eksaherada’ level, we say) sheer puffed sleeves which was a modern take on the Filipiniana butterfly sleeves.

By 2023, Vice Ganda had already cemented herself as the undisputed red carpet royalty, but that didn’t stop her from outdoing herself yet again. 

She stole the show in an imposing blue couture by Indian designer Gaurav Gupta, representing a new elevated sense of style. The electric blue ensemble showcased dramatic details mimicking the fluidity of water. In that mermaidcore world, Vice was truly the Queen.

This year, as she joins the grand constellation of stars for ABS-CBN Ball 2025, all eyes will surely be on her next celestial fashion moment.
