Launched in 2012, “Sine Mo ‘To!” has been one of the top favorite segments of “It’s Showtime.” Being a sketch comedy segment, it is known to feature spoofs of various topics, events, and TV shows that usually run for a week, with the hosts and a few chosen madlang live audience members comprising the cast. And eight years since it was discontinued, the long-running noontime program has revived it in early 2025 and has already offered three narratives.

With “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab” being one of the most highly talked about programs in the local entertainment scene nowadays, “It’s Showtime” joined the bandwagon by presenting a parody of it entitled “Huwag PaBeBe: The Big Co-Love.” And in this edition of Showtime Toplist, let us revisit the six moments from the story that got everyone rolling on the floor laughing.

Since “love teams” have been prevalent across all editions of the reality show, the hosts were divided into pairs for this narrative—an allusion to “PBB Collab”’s duo system—and were given names inspired by their biological names. Ogie Alcasid and MC Muah were Herminio and Melvinia, Lassy Marquez and Ryan Bang were Bang Hyun Sung and Reginalda, Darren Espanto and Jackie Gonzaga were Lyndon and Jackque Gyl, Jugs Jugueta and Teddy Corpuz were Theodore and Erica, and real-life partners Vice Ganda and Ion Perez were Jose Marie and Benigno.

Let us begin with that scene wherein Vice dared Ogie to smell the armpits of his partner, MC, telling him that it was the secret to having a beautiful voice. Being the person who is always game to ride on the trips of his co-hosts, Ogie reluctantly did what he was told, with someone pushing his head onto MC’s armpit, which made his lips unintentionally touch it. As the Unkabogable Star attempted to deceive him once more by asking him to kiss MC’s other armpit in order for him to complete at least the chorus of his song, Ogie told them that he was already fine with the snippet.

In the second episode, we witnessed the bardagulan among the trio of Vice, MC, and Lassy, which ended up in a spontaneous wrestling bout. Vice, Lassy, and Ion ganged up on MC to push him towards the cushioned mat covered with powder, and they succeeded. Someone then shoved Lassy to the mat, which ensued in a “wrestling match” between the comedic duo.

A few days after their eviction, “PBB Collab” ex-housemates and first evictees AC Bonifacio and Ashley Ortega made a surprise live appearance on the third episode of “Huwag PaBeBe: The Big Co-Love.” The pairs of hosts were tasked to recreate the remarkable reactions of AC and Ashley, which have gone viral ever since they were shown onscreen.

On that same episode, Lassy and MC finally had the opportunity to exact revenge on the Unkabogable Star, thanks to her beloved spouse, Ion, for helping them push her towards the mat. Of course, she didn’t let that “betrayal” slide, as she made sure that Ion would experience the same by pulling him until he lost his balance and tumbled onto the mat.

The following day, the fun apparently had gone too wild, as Vice’s cycling shorts got ripped after being repeatedly pushed by MC and Lassy onto the couch and her bestriding each time she landed on the couch. She jokingly accused Lassy of biting it as she playfully regarded him as a “cobra”.

And lastly, any PBB edition wouldn’t be complete without nomination, so the parody had its own version, too! For their first-ever face-to-face nomination, it was Vice’s character, Jose Marie, who garnered the highest number of points. But instead of casting votes, the eviction process was done through a one-on-one challenge between her and the new housemate, Baby Doll Johaira, in which Vice had to beat her in the task given to them in order for her to be saved.

The two had to slash the layers of balloons filled with water using a sharp blade until the last layer got ripped and the water splashed onto the face of the loser. As she took her final turn, tagabasa, or reader, Vhong Navarro asked her if she wanted a double or substitute, but she declined it and instead requested for him to join her in taking on the punishment. Vhong obliged, and the both of them got splashed by the water.

Were you able to witness these funny moments on the “Huwag PaBeBe: The Big Co-Love” of “It’s Showtime”’s “Sine Mo ‘To” segment, madlang people?
