Because of the infectious energy that he radiated inside Bahay ni Kuya, it had been easy for Star Magic artist Emilio Daez to capture the hearts of many, making him among the well-loved housemates of the “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition.” That’s why many got sad when his journey on the show was cut short as he and his “ka-duo,” Kapuso heartthrob Michael Sager, got evicted after garnering the lowest number of votes among the three nominated pairs.

His stint might have been short-lived, but the “Mr. Bankable Achiever ng Pasig City” continues to win our hearts in the outside world. And since he’s still quite new in the industry, not much is probably known about him yet. Thus, we had him share 10 awesome facts about him that every “Emillion,” as he fondly calls his fans, should know in this episode of “Atin A10 Lang.”

Those who have been stalking him on the internet certainly know that he has a bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering from the Ateneo de Manila University. Since his degree is focused on finance, it was indeed not surprising that he loves Math, which he disclosed is one of his most favorite subjects growing up. 

Emilio came from a huge family, for he has eight siblings, which include multi-hyphenate Mikael Daez, who’s been married to actress-beauty queen Megan Young. 

He may be a self-confessed foodie, but it’s really amazing how he is able to maintain his fit physique. Well, that’s because he has a pretty active lifestyle, as he imparted his love for playing basketball, running, and going to the gym. 

According to him, he finds running fun and an effective way to clear his head and expressed his wish to be able to participate in a marathon in the near future. Meanwhile, working out at the gym for him is a “good escape” and “good way to de-stress.”

Aside from keeping himself fit, another activity that Emilio is fond of is traveling, be it all by himself, with his family, or with his friends. He conveyed that it’s due to his curiosity towards the different places in the world, so he’s hoping to be able to explore all of them. And everywhere he goes, it seems that one of his staples is shades or sunglasses, since he likes to wear them a lot. 

He might already have a promising career in the world of banking and finance, yet he still made the leap of faith by giving it up and pursuing acting, which he’s actually very passionate about. He has already appeared in a couple of teleseryes in his freshman year in showbiz, namely “Pamilya Sagrado” and “Saving Grace: The Untold Story,” and looks forward to exploring the craft further.

Emilio’s PBB journey might have ended early, but he promised everyone on his Instagram, “This is just the beginning. I’m stepping into what’s next with even more heart, more fire, and more love for what I do. The dream continues, and I’m ready for it.”
