The “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” (TNT) stage once again proved it's the ultimate platform for showcasing Filipino vocal talent, wrapping up the “All-Star Grand Resbak 2025” edition with an unforgettable "Huling Tapatan" on “It's Showtime”'s April 26 episode. Six grand finalists unleashed their skill, heart and grit through stellar performances that left the entire nation blown away.

Setting the tone for an epic finale, the episode paid tribute to the comeback story of the 48 'resbakers' or former contenders from past TNT seasons who returned for another shot at victory. From the original 48, they were divided into four groups—Pangkat Amihan, Pangkat Agimat, Pangkat Alon, and Pangkat Alab—each battling it out until only six grand finalists remained for the final showdown. And on this day, one voice made history on the TNT stage once again.

The "Huling Tapatan" set the bar even higher, with some of the biggest OPM icons joining the panel of judges, led by Maestro Louie Ocampo. Also seated as 'hurados' were Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez, Pops Fernandez, Marco Sison, Lani Misalucha, Bituin Escalante, Nyoy Volante, and special guest 2-in-1 judges Stell and Pablo from SB19.

As in previous TNT editions, the "All-Star Grand Resbak: Huling Tapatan" was divided into two rounds. In Round 1, the finalists delivered powerhouse solo performances, each one showcasing their unique vocal strength. From there, the top 3 contenders moved on to Round 2, where they went head-to-head with medleys that honored their chosen music icons.

Viewers also had a chance to fight for their bet in Round 2 where online votes accounted for 50% of the Top 3 contenders' final scores, with the remaining 50% coming from the judges.

The battle kicked off with Ayegee Paredes belting out “It’s My Turn” with the love for her child as her inspiration. After that performance, Hurado Lani praised Ayegee for putting her heart and soul into every note.

Next up, Ian Manibale, who never let the pain he and his family faced dim his passion for music, brought his own flavor to Harry Styles' “Sign of the Times." Hurado Ogie, who've witnessed the Resbakers' journey since day one, said Ian shone on stage.

Raven Heyres made a powerful statement by singing “You Raise Me Up,” raising not just his voice but also the flag for the LGBT community. Raven felt like a winner as he received compliments from his idol, Hurado Regine.

Despite competing in countless contests and not always winning, every setback only made Rachel Gabreza more determined to push forward. And it was clear that nothing could hold her back as she soared towards her dreams with “I Believe I Can Fly." Hurado Pops is confident Rachel would continue to reach new heights with her God-given talent and perseverance.

The 'Marko magic' buzzed in the studio as Marko Rudio rocked Bamboo’s “Hallelujah," blending his strong vocals with impressive showmanship. Maybe the magic he brings in every performance is fueled by his newfound inspiration as a father. Even Hurado Zsa Zsa was captivated, describing his unique ability to pull the audience.

Charizze Arnigo then took her turn with an emotional rendition of “I Need You.” Her performance made SB19's Stell take notice of her talent. Meanwhile, Pablo, highlighted Charizze’s impressive breath technique and the soft yet powerful tones she was able to carry effortlessly throughout the song.

Based on the solo performances of the six finalists, the Top 3 scorers were Marko, Ian, and Charizze, who immediately brought their A-game to Round 2, where they transformed the stage into a mini concert venue with medley performances of their chosen artists.

Marko showed off his versatility as he channeled the P-Pop Kings with his SB19 medley. Ian, on the other hand, brought the feels with a Lewis Capaldi serenade. From her usual 'birit' style, Charizze brought something new and fresh to the TNT stage, surprising everyone with a Moira dela Torre playlist.

As the medley round wrapped up, the hosts announced that it was time for the Madlang People to vote for their chosen 'TNT champ' online. And while the voting was still ongoing, SB19—Stell, Pablo, Josh, Justin, and Ken—brought the house down, performing their newest single “Dungka.”

After a long journey since "Tawag Ng Taghalan" Season 6, Marko has finally triumphed as the “Tawag ng Tanghalan All-Star Grand Resbak 2025” Champion, with an impressive 96.15% combined score from online votes and judges’ ratings. He’ll take home 1 million pesos, a management contract from Star Magic, a recording contract from Star Music, and a trophy.

Ian secured second place with 92.80%, and will take home 250, 000 pesos; while Charizze claimed third with 89.55%, earning 100, 000 pesos cash prize.

As the "All-Star Grand Resbak" ends, a new edition of "Tawag Ng Tanghalan" will begin this Monday on "It's Showtime."
