Rigor (John Estrada) is officially back in the police force, as he has been reinstated, thanks to Mayor Roberto (Albert Martinez), who pulled some strings after Rigor saved his life during a recent assassination attempt.

As expected, not everyone is cheering. The reinstatement sparked mixed reactions, both from the characters themselves and netizens. So, we asked the NLEA (National Law Enforcement Agency) officers who’ve worked with him in the line of duty: does Rigor actually deserve to wear the badge again?

Of course, Mando (Allan Paule), his ever-loyal best friend from when they were both rookies, is rooting for his redemption. "Lahat naman tayo dapat bigyan ng pangalawang pagkakataon," Mando said, which isn't surprising at all, considering his unwavering loyalty over the years. He’s the kind of friend who chooses to see the good, even when Rigor’s choices have put him in the wrong.

However, it seems like Mando’s the only one welcoming Rigor back happily inside the NLEA office. Because even Colonel Salvador (Efren Reyes, Jr.), the head of the agency, was not thrilled about Rigor's return. But he must follow Mayor Roberto's orders. "Ayoko man, wala akong magagawa. Susunod lang ako sa utos ni Mayor. Kung ano ang aprubahan ng itaas, kailangang sundin ko. 'Yun ang masakit sa katungkulan namin bilang colonel," he admitted. Col. Salvador didn't even hide his bitterness when he greeted Rigor with visible disapproval on the latter's first day back in the office.

And it looks like things are only going to get more intense from here. “Marami pa kayong aabangan na pasabog,” teased Rigor himself, whose personal mission now that he's back in uniform is to go after Ramon (Christopher de Leon) and Tanggol (Coco Martin).

Don't miss the action-packed happenings in "FPJ's BatangQuiapo," airing weeknights, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live (KOL), TV5, and A2Z.
