The “Pilipinas Got Talent” (PGT) stage burst with color on Easter Sunday, April 20, in full festive spirit, with Fire Motion Lightrix winning a Golden Buzzer from Judge Freddie "FMG" Garcia.

The LED dance troupe from Talisay, Cebu turned the PGT studio into a hypnotic neon world with their hi-tech light and motion display. The presentation started with a man in a white hooded costume walking silently across the stage. But his mysterious aura quickly faded when he spoke and showed his fun Cebuano humor. He then introduced himself as Richard, the group leader.

As soon as he stepped off the stage, the entire studio went dark, and an enticing beat filled the air. A glow-in-the-dark guitar prop appeared, followed by a man in an illuminated suit. One by one, the rest of the members came out, and the stage transformed into a neon dreamland. The performance combined hip-hop dance with the magic of synchronized lighting. It was like watching 3D lights move to the beat.

During the voting, Judge FMG skipped the long speeches and went straight for the Golden Buzzer. The moment spoke for itself and everyone in the room knew that the group deserved it. Later, during the judges' discussion, he shared that what impressed him the most was how the ensemble showcased something new where technology plays a big role.

Judges Kathryn Bernardo and Eugene Domingo were both amazed by the element of surprise, as they didn’t expect that the act would turn out to be an LED dance performance, or that Richard actually had a whole group waiting to take the stage.

Judge Donny Pangilinan pointed out each member's perseverance, which was evident on the performance itself. He was also moved by the team’s advocacy to save up for the tuition of members who want to finish school. Richard, the leader, was a scholar himself. He was granted a scholarship in college for being part of the university dance troupe, and now he hopes his co-members can sustain their education through dancing as well.

Fire Motion Lightrix started back in 2018, originally performing fire dance and hip-hop, hence the name. They first tried neon light dancing when they were invited to perform indoors. Since real fire wasn’t allowed in the venue, they had to get creative. And that challenge led them to discover the exciting world of LED performances, which has now become their signature style.

With Judge FMG's Golden Buzzer, the group will head straight to the live semi-finals.
