It’s not always that celebrities get to talk about their faith since the majority of the public are apparently more interested in their personal lives and/or the controversies and issues they’re involved in.

So, this Lenten season, we had some of our favorite Kapamilya stars impart how their belief in God has evolved over the years during their exclusive interviews , and we collated their responses in this feature.

Let us begin with “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” actress Gillian Vicencio, who shared that her faith continues to get stronger as time goes by, especially when she goes through hard-hitting trials, and it is only God whom she can hold on to. She said, “’Yon talaga ang nagpapa-strong ng paniniwala natin, ‘yong mga struggles natin sa buhay kasi we turn to Him all the time.”

Her fellow ASAP Dance Siren Anji Salvacion felt that her faith has become stronger due to the experiences and hardships that she had gone through. God is able to prove how faithful He is to His promise that He would never abandon her in every step or decision that she took. Thus, she advised everyone to let the Lord accompany us in our journeys because life gets better and easier when we do it, just like what happened to her.

It was also his strong faith that kept “iWant ASAP” host Jeremy G through everything in life, such as that time when he had nobody by his side to be with him after his mom left for the United States post-pandemic. That took a toll on her mental well-being, yet he was able to eventually conquer it.
