Throughout our journeys here on earth, it’s definitely inevitable for us to commit mistakes that we would completely regret or that would probably haunt us for a very long time. While some of us probably wish that there is a “reset” button that we could press in order to go back in certain moments of our lives to redo and get a favorable outcome, there are others who would simply leave things the way they are and take their missteps as lessons they have to learn the hard way.

But have you ever wondered what the sentiments of our favorite celebrities are with regard to redoing a portion of their lives all over again with one press on an imaginary reset life button? Some of them enthusiastically shared their responses in this exclusive video!

First off is seasoned heartthrob Gerald Anderson, who imparted that he would probably reset some of his business-related decisions to apply the knowledge that he has acquired in the present. However, he believes that if he didn’t go through those failures, he wouldn’t have learned his lessons.

Time To Dance” judge Ken San Jose is currently at the point when he doesn’t want to restart anything since he thinks that he’s not who he is at present if not for everything that he did or went through in the past. But if there’s one thing that he would like to experience again, it’s none other than to see his dad.

Time To Dance” host Gela Atayde said that she’s grateful to be where she is now, so there’s nothing in her life that she would like to restart. However, if there’s something that she would like to restart, it could be her dancing career, as she wonders if she could have begun at an earlier age.

She may be one of the most talented performers of her generation, but Sheena Belarmino confessed that there was a point in her life when she doubted herself, and she wanted to restart that. She said, “Naawa ako sa self ko na ‘yon kasi alam ko naman ginawa niya ‘yong best niya and nakalimutan niya na may mga taong sumusuporta at nagmamahal sa kanya.”

Tawag ng Tanghalan: The School Showdown” grand champion Carmelle Collado, on the other hand, said that it would perhaps be her childhood. She related how naughty she was back then and made her parents’ heads ache, so she would like her younger self to be well-behaved if given the chance.

While the abovementioned stars stated one thing in their lives that they wish to redo, the following Kapamilya celebrities are okay with how things turned out and refuse to regret any of their mistakes.

“It’s Showtime” host Karylle implied that she would not change anything in her life because she firmly believes that “we have to really live with our lives.” She expounded, “The way it is made is that you have to make do [with] what you have. There is always forgiveness. Because there is forgiveness, there is no need to reset everything. You just live your life, and if you’ve made mistakes, you do better, you ask for forgiveness, and you try to get on a better path.”

Gillian Vicencio also said that she wouldn’t because she firmly believes that everything happens for a reason, so she’s just going to give everything up to God.

Although she’s gone through terrible moments in her life, Elisse Joson would still not change a thing because she believes those challenges indeed tested her faith and shaped the person that she is at present. Thus, she says “no” to reset but “yes” to pause and rewind.

Anji Salvacion had a similar response, saying that she’s grateful for everything that is happening in her life right now—either bad or good—for the strong relationship that she has with God, who has been with her through it all.

Fervent shippers of “Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11” alumni Jarren Garcia and Kai Montinola might get kilig as both of them declared that they wouldn’t reset anything in their respective journeys, with the former trusting that everything has its time. “PBB Gen 11” Big Winner, Fyang Smith, agreed with them, conveying that all her mistakes in the past have made her stronger now.

ASAP” New Gen Supah Dancers Jeremy G and Joao Constancia both conveyed not wanting to use a reset button, with the latter iterating that everything happens for a reason and God puts us in certain situations for us to learn and live with our choices. Their fellow Star Magic heartthrob Kobie Brown wouldn’t also change a thing in his past because he believes that everything he’s been through has made him the person that he is today.

ASAP” Dance Siren Chie Filomeno imparted that aside from molding her into the woman that she is at present, all the things that she and her family have experienced made them stronger.

And lastly, rather than changing anything in her life, “PBB Celebrity Collab Edition” host Melai Cantiveros related that she’s grateful to God for all the blessings and challenges that He has bestowed upon her. “Kung ano man ang mga ‘yon, ito na ang mga resulta ng mga ‘yon. Ang dami kong natutunan sa buhay na sobra kong chine-cherish at isha-share sa mga anak ko. Wala na akong mahihiling pa sa Panginoon kundi maraming, maraming, maraming salamat.”

How about you, Kapamilya? Would you like to restart anything in your life if given the chance?
