Topbilled by Andrea Brillantes and Francine Diaz as estranged sisters Mira and Joy, the story is set in the fictional town of Hermoso, where divine encounters, acts of kindness, and difficult choices test the characters' faith and values. Mira, a blind girl with an unshakable belief in God, crosses paths with the skeptical and rebellious Joy. Together, they meet people from all walks of life, some embodying compassion, and others whose actions grip their town with evil.

Since we were little, we’ve been taught to walk by faith and not by sight, meaning to trust in the Lord even when the odds seem impossible. Mira was a living example of this. Though blind, her faith was rooted not in what she saw, but in what she believed. They say miracles unfold before the purest of hearts, and Mira’s unwavering faith was more than enough to make the impossible happen.

Mira and Joy resurrect from the dead
One of the first miracles in Hermoso happened when Joy got into a car accident, while Mira was hit by another vehicle at the exact same time. Joy was rushed to the hospital where she was declared dead. Meanwhile, Mira was found lifeless on the road by Barang (Sylvia Sanchez), a homeless wanderer, who was later revealed to be her and Joy's grandmother. Barang called on kind-hearted barbershop owner Caloy (Soliman Cruz), who checked Mira's pulse but found none. But then, something unexplainable happened. After the bell of the long-abandoned Hermoso chapel rang, both Mira and Joy came back to life.

Bro heals Mira's blindness
Just like in the Bible, where Jesus healed the blind through their faith, Mira also regained her sight because of her belief. After she injured her head badly during an attack by Maximo (Paolo Gumabao), a henchman of fake prophet Deborah (Eula Valdes), her physical body was left unconscious but her spirit was able to speak to 'Bro' (as she calls God), who told her that her sight would be restored because of her unwavering faith. When she woke up and opened her eyes, Mira could see for the first time.

Mira survives a deadly stab wound
Mira’s life was once again in critical condition after she was stabbed by Deborah. She was on the brink of death, and everyone feared the worst. But because of Joy’s heartfelt prayers, Bro came through once again. Mira’s pulse suddenly stabilized, and even the doctor was stunned to see her wound heal miraculously.

Fidel's healing
Another unforgettable miracle happened when Mira and Joy, acting as instruments of God’s healing, prayed over police chief Fidel (Allan Paule) who was clinging to life after being shot. As they held hands and prayed with full faith, Fidel suddenly woke up, completely conscious and healed, as if nothing had happened. Fidel thanked Bro for the second chance and promised to make things right, starting with fixing his broken family.

Rafa is spared from a deadly construction accident
In the middle of a heated argument between Rafa (Kyle Echarri) and his brother Miguel (RK Bagatsing), a bunch of heavy steel bars from the construction site above them came crashing down right where Rafa was standing. Everyone froze, as it seemed like there was no way he could make it out in time. In that moment, Mira and Joy quietly held hands and prayed. And miraculously, the steel bars missed Rafa completely.

Elias rises after being shot
In another life-or-death moment, Elias (Christopher de Leon) was shot while helping Mira escape from the hands of syndicate leaders Thelma (Andrea del Rosario) and Armand (Richard Quan). The wound on his chest was critical. But Mira, holding onto hope, cried out to the heavens in desperate prayer, until a blinding light appeared and Elias recovered the next moment.

Simon's change of heart
Miracles aren’t just about healing or bringing the dead back to life; sometimes, they come in the form of a change of heart. The word of ‘Bro’ teaches that even what the enemy intends for evil, He can turn around for good. Simon (Nonie Buencamino), the once wicked leader of Hermoso, renewed his faith after suffering from a brain disease and witnessing how the fake faith healer Deborah poisoned his grandson Miguel's mind. Simon turned to God, asking for another chance, and told Him that if he wouldn't have much time left due to his incurable sickness, then he wanted to be used as His instrument. In the end, he sacrificed his life to save Pio (Seth Fedelin) from Deborah.

This Holy Week, let us reflect on the miracles that surround us, and like the character of Mira, choose to walk by faith.
