Week 5 inside the "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition" house felt like something straight out of a K-Drama. With Korean actor Kim Ji Soo entering as a special guest, the vibe was infused with just the right amount of kilig and feel-good energy.

Ji Soo's oppa-dorably sweet personality meshed so well with the housemates. Even netizens couldn't get enough of his chemistry and banter with the group, especially with Klarisse de Guzman, who played his 'endgame' in the original P-Drama the housemates came up with for their weekly task.

Housemates Will Ashley and Michael Sager were tasked with writing two original drama stories with Ji Soo as the main character. He had to deliver three Filipino lines in each act. For every line he uttered perfectly, the housemates earned the chance to remove one layer from their “hearts tower” challenge, wherein the housemates, divided into two groups, must stack a five-feet-tall tower of cups with a half-heart base on a floating platform. To win, the two groups must carry the platforms across the pool and bring them together to form a full heart.

As the week went on, Ji Soo grew fond of the housemates. On his final night in the house, he surprised everyone by cooking ramyeon (noodles) for them as a heartfelt thank-you gesture. It doesn’t get more K-Drama than that!

With the "hearts tower" task, the housemates found themselves reflecting on what love truly means to them. For Michael, love is seen in the quiet sacrifices of his parents. It’s the things you do for other people, he thought, recalling the long hours his parents spent working hard to give their family a good life.

Ralph de Leon believes love is a choice—a lesson he learned from his mom, who remained their family’s rock during his father's illness.

River Joseph brought us straight into K-Drama realness as he talked about his grandparents, who were married for over seventy years and showed him what it means to love someone through every season. "'Til the very last day I saw in them what true love was. When you choose your partner everyday, no matter if you fight, you go through the worst of things, you still choose your partner."

But love isn’t always tender and sweet. At times, it hurts the most. And for Charlie Fleming, the most heartbreaking love story was her parents’ separation in 2015, and how her relationship with her dad has grown more distant in the recent years. It hurt, she admitted, but there was strength in choosing her own peace.

Meanwhile, AZ Martinez got candid about how her relationship with her boyfriend, fellow Kapuso artist Larkin Castor, has gone through on-and-off phases. She knows that no relationship is perfect, but she just wants a love that understands. However, her feelings may be getting a bit more complicated with her seemingly growing 'admiration' for Ralph inside the house.

And of course, what’s a K-Drama without a little ‘selos’ moment? Enter Bianca de Vera and Dustin Yu. After a chat in the garden area, Bianca seemed affected when she noticed Dustin getting extra playful with AZ while washing dishes. The boys caught on Bianca’s sudden silence as she watched Dustin and AZ laughing it up at the sink, which sparked a round of teasing. They jokingly shipped Bianca with Michael—just to see Dustin react. And react he did. Dustin walked out when Bianca and Michael started talking about how they already followed each other on social media even before entering Kuya’s house.

Just like in any K-drama, every 'high' comes with a plot twist, as the week ended with another emotional farewell. This week, three duos had been nominated for eviction—Michael and River (MicVer), Ralph and AZ (RAZ), and Charlie and Kira Balinger (ChaKira). For a whole week, viewers had the chance to vote for the duo they wanted to save.

In a series of heart-pounding announcements, host Bianca Gonzalez appeared on the monitor to deliver the results. The first duo to be declared safe was MicVer, who breathed sighs of relief as they secured their spot in the house, while the other housemates congratulated them.

That left ChaKira and RAZ as the remaining two duos, who were then asked to head to the eviction room, where only one pair would walk back out safe. Emotions ran high inside the room. The four housemates were in tears as Bianca revealed that Ralph and AZ had been saved by public votes, meaning Charlie and Kira were the second duo to be evicted this season.

As shown in the final tally, RAZ led the polls with 37.24%, followed by MicVer with 32.77%. ChaKira, unfortunately, fell short with 29.99%, sealing their fate.

It was a bittersweet ending to what felt like a K-drama week. But another twist is coming, as two new houseguests are set to enter the PBB house—one Kapuso and one Kapamilya star. And based on the teasers, netizens are already speculating that Xyriel Manabat and Shuvee Etrata might be the next to enter Bahay Ni Kuya. Could they be the next houseguests? We’ll have to wait and see in the next episode!

Catch "PBB Celebrity Collab Edition," airing weeknights at 10:00 p.m. and on weekends at 6:15 p.m. via GMA Network. You can also watch it online via live streams on Pinoy Big Brother’s YouTube channel, Kapamilya Online Live (KOL), and iWantTFC.
