Just in case you haven’t realized yet, “Pinoy Big Brother” is already 20 years old! 

And what better way to celebrate it than by having a totally historic and extraordinary edition, right? Thus, for a very unbelievable yet delightful move, ABS-CBN Studios and GMA are joining forces this 2025 to give Kapamilya and Kapuso audiences alike, especially the avid fans of the long-running, highly successful reality program a fantastic treat via “PBB Celebrity Collab Edition”!

But before we welcome the new batch of housemates hailing from Star Magic and Sparkle, the Kapamilya hosts have a few things to say first to our beloved “Kuya,” as well as to the people behind PBB. Watch this video!

Alexa Ilacad, who just joined the roster last year and was only five years old when the show was launched in 2005, was obviously over the moon that Kuya still chose her to be part of the newest edition. She expressed how thankful and happy she is to still be part of this family and wishes that it will never change anymore. “Ang Gen Z Bestie ni Kuya” also didn’t forget to thank everyone behind the show for this opportunity bestowed upon her, which she considers “such a big blessing.”

Excitement and happiness were indeed drawn on the face of Enchong Dee, as he conveyed how thrilled he is to be welcomed by Big Brother again into his house. “Ang Official Homeboy ni Kuya” is also excited to be working with people whom he described as “punong-puno ng puso.”

Like Alexa, Melai Cantiveros is also grateful for this wonderful opportunity that she totally didn’t expect to be given to her once again. “Ang Kuantie ni Kuya” thanked Kuya and the entire PBB production team for putting their trust in her even though she doesn’t really trust her own potential, as well as promised to keep up the good work and not let them down. 

Robi Domingo commenced his piece by thanking everyone part of the program, stating, “Sa lahat ng bumubuo ng PBB, sobra akong nagpapasalamat sa inyo. Dito hindi lang siya trabaho para sa akin, kundi nakakita ako ng isang grupo na maituturing kong pamilya na mahal na mahal ko sobra.”

As he mentioned how Kuya has been a huge and significant force in his life, “Ang Tambay sa Bahay ni Kuya” imparted that he still reminisces on his confession room moments with him, as well as he continues to learn from him through his conversations with the succeeding batch of housemates.

Lastly, Bianca Gonzalez gushed over how it has been 20 years already and how she and Kuya have stuck together in spite of the highs and lows that they’ve experienced—from the time when she was still a housemate up to the present that she’s been its host for the longest time. “Ang Dating Boarder ni Kuya” said, “It was one of my life’s biggest honors to be a host for ‘Pinoy Big Brother.’ So, salamat and happy 20 years sa atin!”

For this “PBB Celebrity Collab Edition,” Kim Chiu is still joining Alexa, Bianca, Enchong, Kim, Melai, and Robi, with GMA Sparkle artists Gabbi Garcia (a.k.a. “Kapuso It Girl ni Kuya”) and Mavy Legaspi (a.k.a. “Ang Kapuso Royal Tropa ni Kuya”) being the newest addition to the elite squad of Kuya!

Bahay Ni Kuya is reopening its doors for "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition," which will premiere on GMA Network this March 9. Catch the episodes weeknights at 10:00 p.m. and on weekends at 6:15 p.m. via GMA Network.
