While we enjoy all the mind-blowing and suspenseful action scenes that “Incognito” offers, we also can’t help but adore the poignant and lighthearted moments among its lead characters, dubbed the “Kontraks,” comprised by Andres (Daniel Padilla), JB (Richard Gutierrez), Greg (Ian Veneracion), Max (Kaila Estrada), Gab (Maris Racal), and Tomas (Anthony Jennings).

And in this episode of Kapamilya Toplist, let us focus on Andres and JB as we revisit their scenes together that display signs of their growing friendship!

Those who got to catch the series right from the very beginning can probably recall that the two were initially not in good terms due to their clashing points of view and sentiments on certain matters. One of those instances was when JB reprimanded Andres for still pushing through with his plan of rescuing the alleged victims of human trafficking from Isla Azur, even though it was already decided that they would not interfere with it to not compromise their mission then. 

A scorching spat ensued between them, with Andres arguing that he did it out of his deep concern for the disadvantaged folks, especially the children, of the island who couldn’t protect themselves from the wicked and greedy Escaleras. JB, on the other hand, insisted that they must only stick to their real objective there no more, no less.

But the rift between them apparently got closed during their work trip in Cerdova, where they were able to finally catch Timor (Art Acuña), the leader of a powerful crime syndicate who was responsible in the abduction of Takako. As they celebrated this accomplishment, JB gave Andres a hand hug as his way of expressing his pride and appreciation to him for a job well done. 

As he learned about Andres’ conversation with Timor, JB warned him against the latter’s tendency to manipulate him, to which the former assured that he would not fall for the enemy’s lair. JB assured Andres that there are definitely other means that he could glean information about his long-lost brother, whom he believes is a victim of human trafficking. 

Not long after, JB went on to express his willingness to help Andres find the masterlist mentioned by Timor, which, according to him, contained the names of all the personalities involved in his organization. When Andres asked him why, JB said that he wanted their group to finally win after the terrible outcomes of their initial missions.

From simply talking to one another, Andres and JB went on to have a drinking session, wherein they discussed the uncertainty of the reinstatement of the latter and the other members of the “Kontraks” following their failed mission, as well as their secret mission related to Timor’s human trafficking venture. 

Andres initially offered to pay him in exchange of his service—but not as much as “contractor” rewards him—yet JB told him that he didn’t have to since he already vowed to help him in this matter. The two were also able to convince Max to be onboard their secret mission, taking on the same role of being the “lookout,” so that it would be easy and safe for them to navigate the enemy’s den. 

As they were able to infiltrate the hideout of Clover” (Ryan Eigenmann), the trio encountered a problem after Andres suffered from suffocation due to the toxic gas that filled the place, making it truly challenging for him to go on with their mission. Thus, the highly concerned JB simply instructed Andres to focus on obtaining the hard drive that contained Timor’s masterlist, while he would be the one in charge of toppling down the opponents.
