“Saving Grace” stars Julia Montes, Jennica Garcia, and Elisse Joson, who are definitely three of the most talented and versatile actresses not just of ABS-CBN Studios, but of the local showbiz. While we can all agree that each one of them is exceptionally good at acting, as if they were born to do it and make it into their career, did you know that being an actress is actually something that they didn’t dream of when they were kids?

The three actresses disclosed their childhood dreams in this exclusive video!

Even though she’s been acting ever since she was just a little girl and is now one of the most admired among her generation, Julia bashfully confessed that she actually aspired to become a singer. 

Aside from acting, not a lot of people know or are probably aware that Jennica is actually skilled in sewing, too. In fact, she used to dream of becoming a dollmaker due to the influence of her beloved maternal grandmother, Lola Sandra, who started to teach her various handwork—such as sewing, painting, and crocheting—at the age of 7.

Apparently, she was able to make that childhood dream come true by pursuing dollmaking both as a hobby and a business. Jennica gave us a peek of her process in making a dress and bonnet for the handmade doll that she crafted for her daughter, Mori, in one of her vlogs that she uploaded on her YouTube channel in 2022.  

Elisse, on the other hand, still aims to finish her studies even though she’s already making waves in the entertainment industry. She disclosed that she’s actually enrolled at present, but she has to put it on pause for the meantime since she is still busy with her showbiz commitments, her own business, and her mommy duties to her daughter Felize. However, she assured, “Balang araw, gagawin ko pa rin ‘yon. Hindi ko pa rin siya sinusukuan.”
