From the online noontime universe as hosts of “Showtime Online U” (the “It’s Showtime” gap show that airs on Kapamilya Online Live), Wize Estabillo and Lorraine Galvez are ready to bring their fun hosting skills to “PGT Exclusives.”

These two have already mastered the art of bringing fun real-time reactions to online audiences. Now, they’re set to conquer yet another digital stage as the newest hosts of "PGT Exclusives," the official online gap show of "Pilipinas Got Talent Season 7.”

If you've been following their journey, you’d definitely feel proud as their hosting careers continue to flourish. But what makes it even better is that they’ve remained humble through it all.

Ask them how it feels to be chosen as the hosts of "PGT Exclusives"—which is a huge deal since "Pilipinas Got Talent" is one of the biggest talent competitions in the country—and they’ll tell you they still can’t believe they were handpicked for the role. Not that they’re downplaying their hosting skills, but it just feels surreal for them. At the same time, they’re beyond excited, especially since it’s been seven years since PGT last had a new season.

Yes, they were handpicked to host "PGT Exclusives." And getting there was a memorable story on its own. They recall receiving casual inquiries from their talent management, Polaris, about their availability on certain dates, which they thought was nothing too out of the ordinary. But before they knew it, they were officially told that they had landed a new hosting gig for PGT, something they never expected but are more than ready to take on.

Lorraine, a proud alum of “It’s Showtime’s” Tawag ng Tanghalan, was visiting her former school (fun fact: she's a nursing graduate!) when she got the news. She wanted to scream and jump for joy when she got that call. But she had to keep the excitement to herself since she was on campus.

Wize, a former “It's Showtime” BidaMan contestant, had an equally unforgettable 'big reveal' moment. At that time, he was dealing with a vertigo episode when his Polaris manager called to tell him he had been chosen as one of the hosts for “PGT Exclusives.” He was so overwhelmed that he was too stunned to speak, "Parang, 'Ako? Bakit ako?' Parang ang daming mga artista at magagaling na hosts ng ABS-CBN pero bakit ako 'yung napili. Sabi ko lang, 'Okay po, sige po.' Lahat ng sinasabi niya, hindi ko napa-process pero oo lang ako nang oo."

Lorraine could totally relate, chiming in that never in her wildest dreams did she imagine she’d be part of the hosting team of one of the biggest talent shows in the country.

Although they still consider themselves neophytes, Wize and Lorraine never felt intimidated by the show’s main hosts, Robi Domingo and Melai Cantiveros. If anything, Robi and Melai were welcoming and generous with their encouraging pieces of advice. They would offer them guidance even without being asked.

Wize shared that during a recent group dinner, Melai and Robi reassured them that they can pull off their task as long as they'd give their best. They also reminded them that hosting isn’t just about skill, as it's also about building good relationships and demonstrating perseverance. With those words alone, Robi and Melai had already answered the questions Wize and Lorraine had in mind about longevity in the industry, without them even needing to ask.

Lorraine, in particular, admires Robi’s ability to adapt his hosting style to suit each program he’s assigned to. She hopes to one day ask him how he maintains such versatility. This kind of adaptability is especially important for Wize and Lorraine because fans have gotten used to their high-energy hosting style, which fits the lively noontime setting of “Showtime Online U.” But for “PGT Exclusives,” they want to switch things up with a calmer, more graceful approach, formal yet still engaging. "Gusto ko na 'pag kausap ko 'yung mga tao, mas mapuso rin ang sagot nila sa akin," Lorraine shared, adding that she’s eager to show audiences a new side of her hosting skills.

For Wize, his background as a flight attendant and his corporate experience will sure come in handy. He can carry over his calm and graceful demeanor from his previous industry into hosting “PGT Exclusives” especially when speaking to contestants or addressing the audience.

Between the two, Lorraine is the bubblier one, while Wize has a calmer energy, which makes for a perfect balance in their dynamic as hosts.

When asked about what to watch out for in the newest season of "Pilipinas Got Talent," they highlighted the fresh mix of judges—Freddie “FMG” Garcia, Donny Pangilinan, Eugene Domingo, and Kathryn Bernardo—with three out of four being first-timers on the PGT panel. Plus, they vouch that this season’s lineup of talents is nothing short of extraordinary.

"Sa ‘Pilipinas Got Talent,’ naka-six seasons na tayo, so ang dami na nating nakita na talents from other people, mga talento ng PIlipino. Pero ngayon, fresh and unique talents 'yung kailangan nilang abangan. 'Yung parang, 'Woah! Ang tagal na ng PGT pero bago 'to.' Yun ang kailangan n'yong abangan," teased Wize.

Catch Wize and Lorraine in "PGT Exclusives," the online gap show of "Pilipinas Got Talent Season 7.” PGT airs Saturdays and Sundays on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live (KOL), A2Z and TV5, starting March 29 and 30.
