Spectators see Eugene Domingo as a scene-stealer on screen. Because she really is. She's the woman who can make an entire audience laugh with just a raised eyebrow, or moved them to tears with a single glance. She is, at her core, an artist who knows how to make people feel.

Beyond the comedy and sometimes unexpectedly tender moments on screen, she's sharp, articulate, and deeply passionate about her craft. She’s the kind of performer who sets the bar high, not just for herself but for everyone around her. She's an artist of the highest caliber.

That's why fans expect nothing less than her signature mix of humor and unfiltered honesty as one of the powerhouse judges in the much-anticipated return of "Pilipinas Got Talent" in its 7th season. Because if there’s anyone who knows what real talent looks like, it’s Eugene.

But before she takes on the judge's seat, let’s look back at her journey on television as a Kapamilya.

Eugene, who graduated with a Theater Arts degree from the University of the Philippines, started her acting career in movies until she was launched on television in an afternoon action-drama series that ran from 1992 to 1997.

But it was in 2002 that her TV career truly flourished as a Kapamilya. There was a time we knew her as the lovable sidekick in the primetime soap opera "Sa Dulo Ng Walang Hanggan" (2002), playing Simang, the loyal friend and protector of the lead character played by Claudine Barretto.

Also of her many roles that resonated well with audiences was Rowena, the gregarious best friend of Aiai delas Alas in the movie trilogy "Ang Tanging Ina," which had a TV spinoff in 2003. We can all agree that her comedic chemistry with Aiai and her natural charm as Rowena were major parts of the franchise’s success.

The following year, she and Aiai teamed up once again in "Volta" (2004), a serialization of the film with the same title. Here, she played Nancy. That same year, she reunited with Claudine in "Marina" as well, taking on another unforgettable role as Lorelie, an eccentric and effervescent character who added a layer of humor to the fantasy drama.

The year 2005 was one of the highlights of Eugene’s career. Among her many projects that year was the fantasy series "Kampanerang Kuba," where she played Sister Clara, a kind-hearted nun in a local convent and who also had magical powers. With her growing celebrity status, she ventured into hosting, with one of her first gigs being the cooking show "Makuha Ka Sa Tikim" that same year.

If 2005 was a busy year for Eugene, 2007 was even bigger as she starred in a total of 10 movies. But even with her packed film schedule, she still made her mark on television by appearing in two Kapamilya series that year—"Sineserye Presents: Palimos ng Pag-Ibig," where she played Mitos, the cheerful friend who served as comic relief in the drama adaptation of the 1986 film; and "Kokey," where she took on the role of Charisse, a loud and vibrant character who added even more color to the sci-fi fantaserye.

You got to be prepared for Eugene's grand return to ABS-CBN, this time, as one of the powerhouse judges in the newest season of "Pilipinas Got Talent." As someone who has climbed the artistic ladder with sheer talent and dedication, from television and film to theater performances, Eugene doesn’t just entertain but sets the bar impossibly high.

Her deep understanding of performance, honed through years of experience in both mainstream and avant-garde projects, makes her one of the toughest judges to impress. She knows what true talent looks like, and she’s not one to settle for anything less.

With the Comedy Star for All Seasons on the judging panel, PGT Season 7 is bound to be a tough showdown of top-tier talent and entertainment.

Also joining her on the panel are Kathryn Bernardo, Donny Pangilinan, and Freddie 'FMG' Garcia. "Pilipinas Got Talent Season 7” is hosted by Robi Domingo and Melai Cantiveros, and will air Saturdays and Sundays on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z and TV5, starting March 29 and 30.
