Commencing the week was the grief-stricken and regretful Fatima (Andrea Brillantes), who broke down in tears as she caught her family weeping due to the demise of her Kuya Caloy (Gio Alvarez). She was overwhelmed with anguish and remorse for breaking her promise to her older brother, which was to never give up her dignity in exchange of money, in a desperate attempt to save his life.

As she saw her parents worry over the hospital bills that they needed to pay in order for Caloy’s body to be released, Fatima handed them the money she earned from her side hustle. When asked by her mom, Gracia (Shamaine Buencamino), where did she get that a lot of cash, Fatima simply told her that more than knowing where it came from, what’s important was for them to be able to give her brother a proper wake and funeral.

Meanwhile, at the party organized by Ramon (Christopher de Leon) and Don Julio (Tommy Abuel) for Tanggol (Coco Martin), Congressman Miguelito Guerrero (Jake Cuenca) drew his gun when a fight broke out between his bodyguards and Tanggol’s friends who tried to overtake their car earlier that day. The tension further grew when Tanggol came into the scene and managed to disarm Miguelito, then pointed the gun at him.

The arrival of their respective families quite quelled the tension between them, with Tanggol unloading Miguelito’s gun and giving it back to him, then warned him, “Mag-ingat ka sa baril. May pagkasa-demonyo ‘yan,” before leaving. As Ramon advised him to not go against them since the Guerreros are their allies and business partners, Tanggol firmly told him that he doesn’t care because they mess with his friends again, he would definitely fight back at them. But Tanggol felt remorseful of his actions and eventually apologized to Ramon before they headed to the stage for his introduction as the legitimate heir of the Montenegros.

That same night, Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) went back to their home, only to be greeted by David (McCoy de Leon) and Rigor (John Estrada) who were fuming mad that she was able to get out of jail. As he and his Lola Tindeng (Charo Santos) caught Marites being harassed by Rigor to confess that it was Ramon who helped her, Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) came into her rescue by covering up for her and claiming that it was him who bailed her out. When quizzed where he got the money from, Santino told Rigor that he loaned money from his boss, which unbeknown to him, aroused their suspicion about him that he’s likely involved in an illegal activity.

A heartbreaking dramatic moment, on the other hand, happened among Santino, Tindeng, and Marites, wherein Santino implied feeling betrayed that another person bailed her out. Nonetheless, she pleaded him not to lose his faith in her and their family, as well as apologized to him that their family turned out the way that it is now. However, Santino finds it difficult to believe that there’s still a chance for their relationship to get fixed and expressed his disdain to the kind of family they have.

In her conversation with Tindeng and Roda (Joel Lamangan), Marites was compelled to confess that it was really Ramon who helped her get out of jail, as well as to impart what they talked about. While Roda was strongly in favor of Marites accepting Ramon’s promise to give her a more comfortable life, Tindeng conveyed that she would be supportive of her regardless of what her decision will be and she would pray that it will be good for her and her children.

As he aims to further persuade Santino to remain in their group, Lucio (Ronnie Lazaro) told him not to pay the money that he owed Teban (Bassilyo) and Kidlat (Smugglaz) anymore, as well as entrusted to him their latest transaction with a client, who is affiliated with Iñigo (Albie Casiño), one of the scions of the Guerrero family. Their transaction initially went awry due to the interference and arrogance of Edwin (Ping Medina), but Santino was able to save it with his innate calmness and tactfulness.

A heated argument ensued among the members of the Red Phoenix as they castigated Edwin for what he just did, to which he was unrepentant. They then figured in a nail-biting clash afterwards when undercover agents from the police force raided the club where they had a business deal. Instead of immediately fleeing as per the advice of his crew, Santino helped Iñigo escape from the authorities.

While Tanggol went to his friends following the conversation between the Montenegros’ and the Guerreros after he was formally introduced, Ramon had a chat with Mayor Roberto Guerrero’s wife Jackie (Angel Aquino) regarding the family’s involvement in his emancipation. Don Julio, on the other hand, had a playful moment with Doña Pilar (Celia Rodriguez), with whom he seems to have a history. Divina (Rosanna Roces), meanwhile, attempted to convince Mayor Guerrero to do business with her and his group.

During another round of exchange between the Montenegros and Guerrero, Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero), the patriarch of the latter’s family, made the major announcement that it is his grandson Miguelito who he likes to replace his dad in the mayoralty position in the upcoming elections. While this stunned Miguelito and his parents, his aunt, Vice Mayor Olivia Guerrero-Torres (Chanda Romero) was absolutely appalled. Olivia had a meltdown in front of the crowd, which resulted in the heated debate between her and Don Gustavo that continued until their family went back home.

The Montenegros also went back to their mansion and invited Tanggol’s friends to come with them for a little afterparty, where they talked about the decades-long partnership of the Montenegro and Guerrero families.
