Yup, Tindeng (Charo Santos) is in her TikToker era! While she’s perfected the art of serious and heavy drama by serving up heart-wrenching scenes in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” she’s also been surprising and delighting her online followers with hilarious videos that prove she’s got a serious knack for Gen Z humor.

Based on her costumes and the backdrop in these clips, it seems like this is her go-to way of spending downtime on the set. Her latest entry is absolutely satisfying if you’re not a fan of Rigor (John Estrada) in the series. In this TikTok universe, the tables have turned—because in Charo’s funny reel, Rigor is the one scared of Tindeng! The skit shows him shrinking in fear as his mother-in-law yells at him and forces him to apologize. 

In this other dimension, she also teamed up with Joel Lamangan, who plays the nation’s newest favorite frenny, the feisty Roda. But instead of their usual intense characters, this reel gives us a whole new 'rich tita' vibe! They’re  serving it-girl realness and smelling and sounding expensive. Roda dubs, “Did you miss us?” to which Tindeng effortlessly adds, “’Cause we missed you.” Louder! We definitely missed this duo! 

Tindeng also dropped her take on the 'kurtina' trend, where a person is dramatically acting out until she realizes her 'performance' is being exposed through open curtains, prompting her to cut the drama first and demand the curtains be closed. “POV: Nag-iinternalize ka tapos may biglang sumilip sa tent,” she wrote in the caption.

She tapped Cherry Pie Picache aka Marites as well. This time, they're not bringing more tears but serving up laughter as they dub a skit by Bisaya content creator Davao Conyo in which a pair of friends are having very relatable conversation. One says the other is harsh when angry, to which the friend snaps back, “Sus! Wala pa ’yan! Kung naririnig mo lang ’yung nasa utak ko, ’yung mga hindi ko sinasabi.”  When asked for an example, the reply comes, “Huwag! Masakit! Baka ’di mo kayanin.” The caption was even sprinkled with some Gen Z sass– “Ayoko na lang talaga mag-talk minsan.”

Another throwback clip from Charo's iconic show "Maalaala Mo Kaya" has been making waves. Here, she’s enumerating “kagandahan, kayamanan, karangyaan, pagmamahal" in the spiels. While the original context is missing, netizens have hilariously repurposed it as the ultimate response to the question, “What can you bring to the table?” And who better to “collab” with that level of precision than the original herself?
