The alleys of San Dimas turned into a battlefield as Tanggol (Coco Martin) and Ramon (Christopher de Leon) clashed with David (McCoy de Leon) and Rigor (John Estrada) in a ruthless, no-holds-barred showdown in the February 21, Friday, episode of "FPJ's Batang Quiapo." 

This happened after David’s deception was finally discovered by Ramon, leaving him teetering on the edge of destruction under Ramon’s unforgiving wrath. With nowhere to run, David, making use of his gaslighting, manipulation, and 'pa-victim' skills sought refuge in his father, Rigor, who, as usual, deflected the blame onto his wife, Marites (Cherry Pie Picache).  

But just as tensions reached a boiling point within the Dimaguiba household, the real storm broke loose when Ramon and his men came to search for David. And then the stakes soared even higher with Tangol's arrival. 

The Dimaguiba duo found themselves trapped and unable to escape the fury of the true Montenegro bloodline. Bullets flew, fists clashed, plus emotions ran wild as long-brewing conflicts finally erupted during Tanggol and Ramon's reunion.  

In a stunning twist, the two sworn enemies, who’ve just been introduced too each other as father and son, ended up fighting on the same side and escaped together at Marites' cue.  

Fans were clearly waiting for this moment; proof is the episode peaking at a staggering 1,004, 554 concurrent viewers on Kapamilya Online Live (KOL).

Since they knew the entire nation was waiting for this showdown, the whole team—the cast and production—pulled out all the stops to make every second of the episode count.  

In a behind-the-scenes reel, art director Richard Somes shared that they wanted the episode to feel "grand, epic, and dramatic," and that viewers not only feel the thrill of the action but also the emotional weight of Tanggol and Ramon’s long-awaited reunion. 

He mentioned that everything started with collaboration. Coco was hands-on in shaping the plot, and Direk Richard worked closely with him to translate that vision into stunning visuals. From there, the entire team—including the actors—worked together to seamlessly orchestrate the intense spectacle. 

Another behind-the-scenes clip showed just how gritty the scenes were, with the actors literally rolling around in the dirt to deliver the raw and unfiltered feel of the fight sequences. They also enhanced the realism by maximizing every available prop and the setting, making the action feel more immersive.  

Tanggol and Ramon's fight choreography was absolutely insane, but after the heated on-screen clash, the two actors would make sure no one got hurt and that it was all just part of the craft.
