DonBelle's first meeting

The first time they met on set, Donny and Belle were far from the inseparable pair we know today. They weren't exactly friends yet, and they didn’t know each other very well when they worked on their breakout series "He's Into Her.” But on their first meeting, they found a fun way to break the ice by playing Mobile Legends together, along with their co-artists. At that moment, Donny thought Belle was a bit shy and quiet, while Belle wasn't sure if they'd ever get close. But as time passed, they discovered each other's special qualities. As Belle said, Donny became the person she could truly rely on, and their bond started growing from there.

“I miss you"

In another episode, the two got candid about the first time they told each other "I miss you." It happened after they went to church together, and as they were heading home, Donny simply told Belle, "Miss you," to which she replied, "Miss you too." We bet her unexpected response made his heart skip a beat. 

“Hinahanap ko pa rin siya” 

There was also an episode where Donny and Belle got real about their daily routine. They both admitted that they love phone conversations, not just for the sake of catching up, but because, well, they get sepanx  when they’re not around each other. They’re each other's first "good morning" and last "good night." Donny opened up about it, saying, “There are so many times kasi na, for example, sa lock-in, everyday nakikita ko siya. And when it comes to a point na nag-e-end ‘yung lock-in, hinahanap ko pa rin siya, eh.” Bubblies, altogether now: Awww!

Favorite moments

The "How To Spot A Red Flag" stars also shared a cute story from their trip to the United States for a series of shows. Donny narrated that they decided to take a candid walk around the food stalls for breakfast, and just enjoyed the freedom to explore and take in the beautiful scenery. For them, it's the simple moments that make everything feel more special. “It really makes a difference,” Donny reflected. Belle also loves these small moments, like how Donny knows exactly what coffee she likes and when she needs it.

Each other’s ‘pahinga’

Sometimes all you need is someone you can take a little break with from the chaos of everyday life. As Gen Zs would say, find that one person who's your 'pahinga.' And for Donny and Belle, they are each other's perfect kind of peace in a world full of noise and hustle. As Donny puts it, “‘Pag kasama ko siya, nare-recharge din ako.”
