“PBB Collab 2.0” housemate Caprice Cayetano turns into a ‘human cake topper’ in a birthday task full of happy tears!

<p>It’s <em>Caprice Cayetano Day</em> (as Gen Zs like to call it when it’s your birthday), and you know what a birthday means in Kuya’s house—cue the chaotic fun and those few emotional moments. (Because don’t we all get a little too sentimental when it’s our birthday?)</p><p>Of course, even if it was Caprice’s special day, she wasn’t getting a free pass from Kuya, who prepared a task to keep the celebration interesting. As shown in the November 12 episode of <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pinoy-big-brother-collab-v2"><strong><u>&quot;Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0,&quot;</u></strong></a> the housemates walked into the living room to find a platform that looked like a giant birthday cake. </p><p>Soon after, Big Brother called the birthday girl into the confession room. Turning 17 inside the “PBB” house was already memorable, but Kuya made sure to add more twist for Caprice, who had to complete a special task that required her to become a human cake topper. </p><p>Caprice’s task was to stand on top of the giant cake platform and recreate photos from memorable moments in her life that Kuya would show one by one. Since she was the human cake topper, she had to stay perfectly still and silent. But before that, she had to share the story behind each picture.</p><p>The first photo flashed on screen was of a young Caprice back in 2012, her &#x27;kikay&#x27; era! She shared that the little girl in the picture never went anywhere without her stash of red lipsticks in her bag. She shared it was taken in 2009, their second meeting, since her parents were still teenagers when they had her and were kept apart by their own families for a time. She added that her parents told her how they’d only meet during special occasions and would secretly talk during those chance encounters. </p><p>That’s when Caprice couldn’t hold back her tears anymore. She opened up about how her dad used to work at a fast-food restaurant and would use his pay buying diapers for her at the drugstore right next door. Even though her maternal grandparents practically raised her while her mom was still in school, she said she’s always been proud of her dad for working hard and finding ways to provide for her, even at such a young age. </p><p>Since the task required her to recreate the photo, someone had to play the role of “Dad.&quot; The housemates figured it had to be Joaquin Arce since he had the same chinito eyes as Caprice’s father. It looked fun at first, but after more than thirty minutes of holding the same pose, Joaquin started to feel the numbness kicking in on his arms. </p><p>Meanwhile, as Caprice and Joaquin stayed frozen in position, the rest of the housemates quietly started working on their own little surprise for the birthday girl.</p><div> </div><div><iframe width="966" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/YqS8d-Hu97o" title="Day 19: Joaquin plays Caprice&#x27;s father in birthday task | PBB Collab 2.0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div> </div><p>The next photo Caprice had to recreate for her birthday task was one with her beloved &#x27;Nanay&#x27; and &#x27;Tatay,&#x27; her maternal grandparents who raised her while her mom was finishing school. </p><p>Helping Caprice recreate the wacky family shot were Miguel Vergara and Reich Alim, who took on the roles of her Tatay and Nanay with full commitment as the pose lasted almost two hours. Later, Caprice told Kuya how touched she was by her housemates’ effort and patience throughout the task.</p><p>While Caprice, Miguel, and Reich kept their pose, housemate Rave Victoria read aloud a touching letter from Caprice’s Nanay and Tatay. The CapLee shippers inside the house went wild when Lee Victor read his message for Caprice, saying he’d always be there to help her grow into a better person — “Pero, para sa akin, perfect ka na.”</p><p>After the housemates read their wishes for Caprice, she got one last surprise, a video message from her parents, Jorge and Cheenee, before Kuya announced that her &quot;sacrifice&quot; as the human cake topper had come to an end.</p><p>Caprice&#x27;s effort paid off sweetly, literally, as the giant cake turned real and she got to share it with her co-housemates.
