With how busy both Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis had become in 2024—Vice Ganda filming for the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “And The Breadwinner Is…” and doing live shows, while Anne Curtis working on the upcoming ABS-CBN Studios series “It’s Okay To Not Be Okay” along with her other commitments—we only got to see the two of them together on “It’s Showtime” a few times.

Thus, many madlang people have certainly missed the bardagulan moments of the well-loved co-hosts and close friends. As we wait for the “sisterettes” to be able to create new core memories together again on the show, let’s look back on some of their hilarious moments in this Showtime Toplist!

Let us start with that episode of the “And The Breadwinner Is…” segment in December, which apparently marked Anne’s comeback after almost a month of absence. Being talented actors that they both are, Vice and Anne amused us with the dramatic-turned-comedic impromptu skit they performed alongside their co-hosts Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario.

However, it was not only the hilarious facet of their friendship that we got to see in that moment, as we also witnessed how sweet and supportive they are actually towards each other. Since she firmly believes that the abovementioned film is the best project of her beloved “sisterette” so far, Anne offered to organize a block screening.

“Feeling ko talaga, this is such a moment for you to shine as an actor at sobra akong excited for you, sis. Kasi kilala natin si Vice laging nagpapatawa, lalo na rito sa Showtime, ‘di ba? Pero dito natin makikita ‘yong husay niya bilang artista. Kaya sobra akong excited,” Anne conveyed.

Just when their interview with the “breadwinner of the day” was getting serious and heartwarming, it suddenly turned comedic after the contestant mentioned the name of the fast-food chain being endorsed by Anne while Vice was standing next to him. This prompted the Unkabogable Star to quip, “’Yong minsan ka lang pumasok, ikaw pa ‘yong nakapag-promote? Ngayon n’yo sabihing life is fair!”

During the final episode of the Magpasikat week in October, the hosts showed their competitiveness one last time as they played “Quiz Showtime,” wherein they enthusiastically answered trivia questions related to the noontime program. Among the core memories that were brought up was Anne and Vice’s “watermelon shake” feud, which they just laugh at now as they realize how “OA” (overacting) both of them were at the time.

In an episode of “Tawag ng Tanghalan,” Vice found a chance to prank her “sisterette” while the latter was so focused on delivering her spiel. The Unkabogable Star suddenly sang and danced the trending song “APT,” much to the astonishment of Anne and even their other co-hosts. While she seemed to have almost uttered expletives, Anne eventually just played along.

Prior to that, Vice also poked fun at Anne during the “KalokaLike Face 4” segment, as the former recalled how the latter gave her and their co-hosts plastic fashion belts in the early years of “It’s Showtime.” While she should have been grateful, Vice couldn’t help but be offended since the belt she received was similar to Jhong and Vhong's. This was after their co-hosts mentioned that Anne gave BINI posh rings as a gift for joining her and her teammates Jugs Jugueta and Teddy Corpuz in their Magpasikat performance.

Since it had already been months since Anne had been absent from the show, her co-hosts, of course, ganged up in making fun of her. Her schedule might have been hectic, yet she was still updated with the latest ganaps of her "It’s Showtime” fam, including how her “sisterette” commented when asked where she was during the media conference.

And lastly, who would forget that episode of “KalokaLike Face 4” that turned out totally chaotic as the hosts and the impersonator of Jericho Rosales weren’t able to initially agree on the story of their impromptu skit. The acting challenge instantly became a game of charades as Anne struggled to find the exact Tagalog term for raising a child, which got her co-hosts and other people in the studio guessing. Since she was already ‘tired’ of her, Vice brought Anne backstage and only allowed her to get out when she finally got the correct answer to her own question.
