The most wonderful time of the year is here, and what better way to celebrate than with a 'family' gathering filled with festive cheer?

The Kapamilya community came together at the Araneta Coliseum for the highly anticipated “ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2024,” where the brightest stars lit up the stage with enchanting performances and heartfelt, unforgettable moments that brought the Christmas spirit to life. This year’s star-studded celebration, titled “Shine Kapamilya: Tulong-Tulong Ngayong Pasko,” aired in a two-part episode over the weekend, making our December brighter and more joyful than ever.

Let’s sleigh our way backstage and unwrap all the behind-the-scenes magic that made the “ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2024” a true holiday spectacle!

In this exclusive behind-the-scenes ‘pasilip,’ we caught “It’s Showtime” hosts and 'sisterettes' Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis together. Apart from his cheer-worthy participation in the opening act, Vice also shared a hilarious skit alongside her “It’s Showtime” co-hosts, inspired by her upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival movie, “And The Breadwinner Is.”

Kathryn Bernardo brought a swish of hotness to the holiday breeze in her fierce solo number. Off-stage, she’s spotted exuding focus and poise as she put the final touches on her dance routine. Another part of the clip shows her being escorted by her trusty glam team, who absolutely nailed her stunning look and style for the night.

The evening sparkled even brighter with the presence of the one and only PopStar Royalty, Sarah Geronimo. In the BTS clip, she’s seen intently studying her song–even a royalty takes her craft seriously. On stage, Sarah delivered a breathtaking vocal showdown with another OPM powerhouse, the Rock Royalty himself, Bamboo, in a duet that was nothing short of a Christmas gift for music lovers.

Even backstage, the star power was undeniable, especially with OPM icons Regine Velasquez and Sharon Cuneta lighting up the room. The camera also caught glimpses of heartthrobs Piolo Pascual, Jake Cuenca, Richard Gutierrez, Coco Martin and couple RK Bagatsing and Jane Oineza.

Kim Chiu brought her signature bubbly energy. She joined Paulo Avelino for a swoon-worthy spot in the love teams’ act. Meanwhile, Julia Montes was seen flying solo in this behind-the-scenes peek but was joined by Coco during the finale's all-star singing.

Even off-stage, electrifying chemistry could be felt between KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad; "Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11" Big Winner Fyang Smith with her fellow ex-housemate JM Ibarra; Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin; and "Lavender Fields" stars Jericho Rosales and Janine Gutierrez. And of course, Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano proved they’re not just the perfect pair but also social butterflies, as seen rubbing elbows with other stars.

Kapamilya heartthrobs Jameson Blake, Joao Constancia, and Aljon Mendoza huddled for some lighthearted 'kwentuhan' before dominating the dance floor as a trio. On the other hand, "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" stars John Estrada, Joey Marquez, and McCoy de Leon were the picture of holiday chill as they waited for their turn to shine in their dance presentation.

It was a Christmas rain of beauties backstage as stars like Moira Dela Torre and the dazzling members of globally recognized P-pop sensation BINI—Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Mikha, Maloi, Stacey, Sheena, and Gwen—graced the halls with their presence.

These backstage moments are a treasure trove of laughter, bonding, and unforgettable memories, too. Kathryn shared some girly giggles with her Chie Filomeno and Loisa Andalio.

Meanwhile, the boys of BGYO—Gelo, JL, Akira, Mikki, and Nate—are absolute cuties whether performing onstage or goofing around backstage. And talk about a reunion worth celebrating! Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro, along with their "Streetboys" brothers, were spotted snapping a fun photo with Ralph Villaruz, the student who choreographed the viral "Maybe This Time" Dance Challenge.

The video also offers a sneak peek at the final rehearsal just hours before the show kicked off.
