While her 4th Big Placer finish in “Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11” drew varied reactions from fans, Kai Montinola revealed that she actually felt a winner already regardless of her placement in the Big 4. She related during her BRGY interview with Bianca Gonzalez, “I feel like a winner because of what I have accomplished inside the house. I know it sounds corny, pero nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng mga naranasan ko sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya.”

Bianca then mentioned about the growing fanbase of her team-up with “PBB Gen 11” housemate Jarren Garcia, which seemingly started when they headlined the “BisTag ang Pinoy: The Musical,” which was among their weekly tasks. It further blew up when they shared the longest goodbye between two housemates inside the game room during eviction night throughout the entire run of “PBB Gen 11.”

“I expected to leave. Never in my stay inside the house na nakita kong wala si Jarren. Jarren was one of my Big 4 if not the Big Winner. Nagulat ako na si Jarren at ako ang natawag na mag-stay [sa game room]. If Jarren is living, I have to actually man up right now. I gotta show them what I can actually do kasi a star quality person as Jarren tapos siya ‘yong nag-leave against me? Parang it’s hard to believe,” Kai commented regarding that moment.

Nevertheless, Kai is very okay with the KaiRen ship since she values her friendship with Jarren as much as how their shippers do. In fact, she’s looking forward to her and Jarren’s “ganap-ables”.

Apart from Jarren, she’s also being shipped with “PBB Gen 11” 2nd Big Placer Rain Celmar, with whom she was able to form a strong bond with inside the house. With how inseparable they were, Kai disclosed that she actually foresaw them being paired with each other and called “KaiRain,” which they found out was already a huge deal for their supporters.

“I guess, it’s nice na ‘yong mga tao nakikita din nila ‘yong friendship namin as more than that, na napapasaya namin kayong mga nanonood. But for Rain and I, we’re just really, really great friends as in. We’re both straight [and] we just found comfort in each other,” she stated.

Message to fans

She may have been appearing already in several shows, yet it’s quite inevitable for her avid shippers to wonder when we are going to see Kai take on bigger endeavors or what’s in store for her in the following year. Thus, she reminded everyone to just chill out, take things slow, and be patient just like she does. She believes that whatever they’re hoping will happen for her, they only have to trust the process.

Bianca also asked Kai for a message for people out there who have deep belief within themselves as she did but are having trouble to stay motivated.

Kai articulately said, “My message to all of you that are aspiring to be someone you’re not yet to be, keep doing what you want to do. Make sure you’re comfortable, make sure you’re having fun, you’re happy. And don’t try so hard because we have this thing [called] law of attraction. As much as you think about it, as much as you manifest it, believe that you can do it, it will happen.”

The interview capped off with Kai expressing her heartfelt gratitude to all her supporters for their love and effort for her, which she really appreciates. In fact, she even keeps the notes that some of them handed her in her journal.
